Starting with Hassassin Bahram
List #2: Infiltrating forward!
What would you need for this list:
Hassassin Bahram Starter Box (use the Daylami to proxy as Ghulams).
Hassassin Farzan blister (2x), keep in mind the single existing Farzan model represents the Chain of Command loadout (with Boarding Shotgun). You may wish to get Hassassin Barid models instead, they do look well and make nice proxies for Farzan FO.
Haqqislam Support Box (with either Doc or Engineer proxying as Ghulam), or any Ghulam model and something to proxy for a Nasmat REM.
The list:
Ragik (Rifle)
Lasiq (Viral Sniper)
Fiday (Mines)
Muyib (Doctor)
Ghulam (Combi Rifle)
Ghulam (Rifle)
Ghulam (Panzerfaust)
Farzan (Forward Observer)
Farzan (Forward Observer)
Nazmat
200pts, 2 SWC

Link to the army list:
The Ragik is out there to provide a “fire brigade” intervention force. Drop him when and where it is necessary to open a flank or neutralise specific target. I’d suggest dropping him early – you don’t have too many Orders on the table, and it won’t get more with time…
Lasiq is basically a long-ranged area denial. Choose a good spot for her and let her ARO enemy actions from an advantageous range band.
Fiday, especially against inexperienced players, is going to be very dangerous. Target light models with him to deprive your opponent of Orders and / or specialists. Keep in mind that the mines can be deployed around a corner. Remember that with Fiday, you must be ready to lose him – and what does matter is exactly how big hole can you punch through enemy force before that happens.
Muyib Doc can be effective combatant, but his primary role is to revive your downed troops (and he has the Nasmat REM to help him reach his buddies who got the short stick).
The Ghulam trio is there primarily to generate Orders, but as a Link Team they can unleash pretty much a barrage with their Rifles and Light Shotguns – provided the range is right. The Panzerfaust provides a devastating long range attack (or ARO) against even the best armored type of target – but remember that being a Disposable weapon, it will be gone after effectively one shot (as Link Team would make it Burst 2 both in Active turn and ARO), therefore use it wisely.
The Farzans are Infiltrating Camouflage models who can jump targets with shotguns (or Rifles, if you prefer). They are also specialists for Objective purposes (and Camo Infiltrators are excellent for that purpose).

A ncie article, however I have to disagree on certain points:
– Ghulam link wihout a Spec Ops is pretty mediocre, having only 4 members.
– Barid should be the first purchase for any Bahram player, he will be used in every list.
– 11 Orders, even with 6 specialists, will not go far due to order starvation. I would’t use the Asawira in ITS scenarios.
