Corvus Belli to release new game: Aristeia!
Yes, you read that header right the first time! Corvus Belli will release a new game within the Infinity universe: Aristeia! Not a miniature wargame, but a board game!
Aristeia is the in-universe game show that is followed by all citizens living within the Human Sphere. A blood sport, like the gladiator games of old, Aristeia is not meant for the faint of heart. The arena is the playground of some of the most well-known mercenaries hired by the armies of the Human Sphere, like Señor Massacre, Mushashi and McMurrough.
With Aristeia, you can be at the center of all the blood sport action!

What is Aristeia!?
Aristeia! is the new board game from Corvus Belli, an Infinity spin-off in which two players become the managers of two competition teams for the greatest show in the Human Sphere. Players will face each other in the arena, and will have to plan their actions carefully to win.
So, is this game independent from infinity?
Yes, absolutely independent. Aristeia! is a board game, not a miniature wargame, and has been designed from scratch as a parallel product. The action happens in the Infinity universe and the game shares some characters and introduces new ones to this Science Fiction setting.
Which is the Release date?
The expected release date is late 2017. Those who come and visit us at Gen Con, Essen or the Interplanetary will have the opportunity to try the game in our demonstration tables.

That’s pretty interesting. A board game set in the Infinity universe. We are very anxious to learn more details about this product like the amount of players, the duration of an average game and of course, the rules!
In the trailer released by Corvus Belli we can take a peak at what the game will bring to the table. We can make out a flat surface broken into several hexagons, with different types of ‘terrain’. Will this be the Aristeia! Arena? What are the rules for these red surfaces? Are these spawning points? Or perhaps weapon depots where you can exchange your combi rifle for a spitfire? Right now, we don’t know for sure, but we like to speculate a bit ahead of ourselves! In the coming weeks it’s best to keep an eye out for more intel from CB HQ!

For those wanting to try out the game ahead of its release, we learned from Bostria that the demo of the game will be available at GenCon, Internationale SpielTage Essen and Corvus Belli’s own Interplanetary. Below you can find some of the information of these events.
