This pal is definitely NOT an unit from a known Tabletop game! All resemblance is pure coincidence!!!
Nice. Panda backpacks are way more common than pandas with backpack, but both exist, so no problem. :v:

Pandas taste delicious, y'know.

I see you've put the newly learned crochet skills to good use. That is very nice work on the Panda. But how can it *hug* with those arms? ;D

Re: Yashias Cosplay Blog [New year, new projects]

by Yashia » January 6th, 2016, 3:08 pm

Hi and hello in the new year!

2016 is a special year for me.
In summer I'll already be cosplaying for 5 years! Damn, time is running!
Also the next project will be my 10th cosplay and
I have done 5 (Aleph, Nomads, CA, Civvies and Tohaa) of 10 (including mercs) Infinity factions.

To celebrate this year of anniversary I decided to make a break of my "going through all the factions"-schedule and instead do a character whos concept I do like very much and whom I find to be very iconic for Infinity 2015. While I'm doing the preparations I let you guess who it'll be.

I hope you'll accompany me again this year! ^_^
Thanks for all your advise, Likes and comments!
Best regards, Yashia :)

Hmm... Iconic of 2015 and from a faction you've already done. Isn't Penthesilea...

Atalanta isn't particularly iconic of 2015.
Joan would be a possible icon, but you've not done PanO yet.
Tohaa, then? Perhaps the Igao?

1 - The red button no longer says 'A'.
2 - The grey button no longer says 'start'.
3 - The cord is removed.
4 - The grey button on the back near the hammer is now black (maybe lighting effect)
5 - The gun has been oriented 90 deg to the original picture orientation, as the wood grain is now horizontal instead of vertical.

I was also thinking of how to get a good gun for cosplay effects without having to recreate one. I suppose using a Time Crisis or similar video game gun is a good solution... I was leaning towards Nerf guns so that I could actually shoot something, hahaha!

Everything right. Except the fifth point wasn't intentional. The "real" fifth thing was the grey button on the bottom of the gun, but it's really hard to spot in the first picture ;)

This was a lucky coincident. Nerf guns can be problematic at some conventions. See the convention rules befor visiting!

No. The sword will be the main weapon. The pistol is already just for photo-purposes, the medi-gun won't be produced by me.
