Maybe it's just me, but are the cups of the breast plate not too far apart? You'd likely know your own physiology better than me, afterall. They just seem rather wide from each other.

Also, you'll be making a backpack? I'm not sure if the Kumotail has one, but the back just seems so empty to me.

Anatomy. Physiology is the workings, anatomy is the structure. The armor looks pretty much as it does on the mini. Those are a lot of straps though. Velcro to hold the together?

Everything is coming together well. I think the weapon might be an interesting challenge though.

BTW, found an video... they do this as pro and... you (Claudius too) should be proud. They talk about adapting impossible things to real people, and even so the weapons look uncomfortable to hold, pretty stupid handle. But they don't shot themselves and then dance, just silly faces.

Yeah, they are fitting strangely. Also too small for me, but well... I don't wanne wear it on a sunday afternoon on my couch, so it'll be fine.

Okay, now that Mob of Blondes finally solved my problem (Big thanks!) we can move on with a way less fancy update: The gloves.

Did you use the normal or the light version? Normal ones (at least the couple of brands avaliable here) are damn heavy, and never seen the light ones, so I wonder if technically lighter, or really light.

The light ones weight about half as much as the normal ones but are very expensive. I used the normal ones. Four packets, so 2kg

Is the clay still in place? somehow I assumed you would have made a latex mask from the modeled head.

But then, IIRC it was quite difficult to build up the material strength enough just by "painting" latex on. And making (foam) latex masks via mould is quite a complex task.

Anyway ... great work.

Dear me no! The clay has been thrown away after the 8 layers of latex had dried up completely. You can see the removing in the GIF, it's a few pictures/steps before the painting had been done.

If the clay was still in it wouldn't be wearable! The modeling clay was just to give the latex the shape!

Ah, OK, just as base shape. Yeah, then using light version would had been a waste of money. You could had used plasticine or plain clay (the "mud" that requires "cooking") probably.
