@Section9: Here is the size comparison:

They are close, but the pipe stack is a bit higher and wider:

Meanwhile working on some smaller terrain objects in the form of robotic arm manipulators and a control panel. The arms have moving joints:

The arms move? That's pretty legit! I'm not the biggest fan of that Control Panel, though. Looks odd to me. Do you have an Infinity figure you can put next to it for a size comparison, instead of those small models?

Those "small models" are, I guess, Hasslefree's HazMat Troops.
I don't have these exact models, but Hasslefree tends to go quite well along with Infinity scale.

@Mob of Blondes @Errhile @Claudius Sol: Indeed, those are Hazmats by Hasslefree. They are the same height as most Infinity human miniatures, although they are quite thin and appear closer to female operatives. The control panels were supposed to have a protective frame for construction sites and the like. And their height makes them look like information panels and less like computers.

Currently working on expanding the module system with walls of various dimensions. Now not all of the buildings have to be the usual 1' x 1' size, it's possible to mix and match with the connections. First off, the half length (6") wall:
Image

Image

And for various corridors and passages - the minimal width (4 1/2") wall. Still compatible with the slot system:
Image

The half building can be fitted with half of the roof, which is still in the works. We used them in a practice game for our local league and here are the action shots:

@Claudius Sol: Thanks! The narrow buildings are already up, the roofs will be up soon. And the battle went well, my Ariadna defeated Warbrodude's CA. Although the table itself needs some tuning, the second level was too open, there had to be some tall obstructive structure in the middle.

@Tancrede: Thank you for your kind word. Your blog is a wonderful source of nicely painted Infinity miniatures.

I'm finally happy with the roof system. Now both ITS and the 1' length rooms can have a second level.
The removable rooftop fences are different length, but remain interchangeable:

Billboards work really well for that. Another idea that I've been kicking around is air movers/HVAC boxes. If you're sneaky, you can use an air mover box to hide the battery pack and light switches for a lit-up table.

In the wake of the gardening season start, the forge has been put to the side. But fear not, some projects are still being pushed. Here are some hanging bridges for connecting buildings, especially on the second or third floor, where catwalks are not tall enough:

Image

Image

They come in several lengths. The medium ones fit snugly inside the 1' by 1' building:
Image

There also are shorter ones:
Image

The bridges are wide enough to fit 40mm base models:

No fatties, no bikes. Makes sense... or roll for danger (bridge collapse and fall to ground).

@Icchan: Do you mean a bridge with solid, not see-through handrails?

The hanging bridges and building elevations are being battle-tested in a Supremacy scenario. An experimental hangar roof can also be seen in the background:
Image

We decided to let troopers shoot through the bridge's tread, like in the movies with a saturation minus.

The Anaconda lays covering fire while a Foxtrot ranger accesses the manipulator arm, which acts as one of the consoles:

@Icchan: I've been thinking about making a hanging bridge inspired by this pedestrian crossing.

Antenociti's Kabardin APC is pretty similar, and is in the queue for re-release. Or you could grab a Hunchback model.

Summer is here, garden work is awaiting, but there still are some projects I would like to share with you.
I've finally finished refining the curved hangar roofs for my 1' by 1' buildings. The roof cover parts and the platforms are detachable.
Image

@Icchan after your suggestion to make non-transparent bridges and some brainstorming, I've come up with this hanging crossing design:
Image

There currently are two different widths: one up to 40mm and the other up to55mm. Which one should be the main one?

Updates are slowly, but steadily coming!

I'm wrestling the very same dilemma at the moment (for use with cardbuilding #6) and I must say I'm more in favour of one intended to fit with 40mm bases.

I mean - most footbridges aren't designed with huge combat machines and motorbikes in mind. A 40mm is as much as a human in an old-fashioned exoskeleton (like, Azra'il) needs, or as much as most REMs require.

I agree with Errhile. TAGs are already huge killy machines, not being able to fit everywhere is a way to balance that. Bikes are just fast, so the same balancing argument works here too.
