Oops, you left some mold lines on his leg. The hex parts look really nice, can't wait to get my hands on my copy of Icestorm.

The delightful line has been removed now. Gotta love the power of the camera to bring out every missed mould line and too - thick highlight!

Not to mention all of the little painting mistakes that are invisible to the naked eye, but glaringly obvious in camera pictures. The biggest reason I switched from using a good camera to using a cellphone camera. Good cameras with macro lenses are murder for perfectionists. :suicide:

Well a couple of weeks have passed, played a few games and painted a lot of Dystopian Wars. Not much on the Infinity front painting wise, I'm afraid. My friend Dave has been busy though, and knocked out these sweet Warsenal Shipping Crates in an afternoon!

Some recent work, including a couple of re-painting jobs after a case of bad varnish and a case of using the wrong shade of red! Quite a productive month, all told. Looking forward to two tournaments before Christmas, and before the release of N3. Should be a great way to round out the year!

The Dactyl is my counts-as Lupe Balboa, representing a reprogrammed Aspect of ALEPH.

I found the proper Lupe model to be a bit flashy for the stripped down. Militaristic Corregidor

The latest pieces off the production line - some more Alguaciles, Zondbots and Go-Go Marlene herself! The lighting used for taking these pictures has made everything seem very shiny... they're rather matt in reality.

Great. I like your style a lot and your rather gritty choice of colors.

Maybe you didn't play as well as you'd have liked, but I'll be damned if that isn't a gorgeous army.

Love the paint scheme, that red is beautifully rich. The Dactyl is a good stand in for Lupe, the official mini is too flashy for my tastes too.

Quick question - I believe that the Geckos do not come with pilots. Is that correct?

Any suggestions on what to use for those?

The Bootleg Lizard Pilot is the obvious choice, but I would be tempted to convert a Tomcat, Alguacil or something else lightly armoured. They're not meant to be heavily armoured in the same manner as the Iguana pilot, so any Light Infantry would be a fine stand in for me - but I plan on painting a Lizard Pilot up in Corregidor red.

Just saying, the Szalamandra Pilot is still a thing. ;)

And I'm sooo stealing that color for my Nomads.

Absolutely stunning brushwork buddy!

Quick question (please humour me). I've been looking at grabbing a whole heap of the MAS Crate Stacks and the assorted barriers, can you grab some quick terrain photos for me for inspiration? Please? :D

(Note, I've already dropped the dosh on them... Now I'm just after pretty pictures)

Very beautiful.

I also appreciate the particular red you employed for the nomads. Very original and enjoayable, different from the typical saturated red we usually see... It feels to me like a sort of darkened orange-red, a variety of red where the magenta component is lower...

No models to show off this time, but I attended a local tournament over the weekend and supplied two tables worth of terrain. Was a great day! Somehow managed to place third, which was cool. The full report is on the blog... http://fullsd.blogspot.co.uk/2015/02/in ... eport.html

Without a doubt they are.

Infact that table is covered in all sorts of glorious and varied MDF/HDF suppliers and it looks freakin brilliant.

Well done Big Mac thats an awesome table mate.

Thanks for the kind comments!

The forklifts on that table are indeed CNC Workshop. Great kits!

The rest of the terrain (on that board at least) is sourced from Warmill, Zen Terrain, Antenocitis Workshop and Micro Art Studio.
