Oh, I do like this one... Could use it in a Dark Heresy campaign.

Sex sells. Exrah doesn't, at least until they develop boobs. So what is funnier, that thread or the catalogue? :v:

But better back Hasslefree range. Another resin:

The rest of the team was posted long ago. In resin. Now also in metal:

And she even comes with a proper Riot Grrl hair cut and not those ingredible stupid pigtails. :toot:

I am really on the fence about whether I should buy that kit, because I know I might have more fun with the later released multi part one. Amd a higher women ratio would be nice too, but I personally like the closed helmets more and the poses are great, but as a team just a little bit too similar for my taste. Since they kinda are test minis, thats not really a fault of Kev either. Its just what it is.

Kevin is great, and in fact I've been also an Hasslefree customer, but I wish he was more careful with the anatomical proportions, expecially the size of hands and head.

In what sense? A quick "brush in the air at arms lenght" says head-body ratio is fine for them. Maybe a bit thin?

It varies from figure to figure, of course, but generally Kevin's heads and hands are too big, legs too short.
In any case, some of his concepts are truly good.

Checked with a picture, head was fine or a bit big, hands clearly a bit big and "package" a bit hanging. But on scale hands would be 2mm across 4 fingers and maybe he prefers "plenty of room" without a MC Hammer style.

And drunk agent resin:

I have middling-big hands (4" across the knuckles, measured for a quick spacing check while playing Flames of War), so my hands to-scale would be right around 2mm across the knuckles. My shooting buddy's hands are bigger than mine, he's almost 6" across the knuckles, and Greg isn't any taller than I am.

As far as the 'hanging package' goes, are you sure that's not a filler piece to reduce the undercut?

The little pistol looks great.

I wish Hasslefree release a 5 x 9mm pistol sprue, like it did for other kind of weapons. Also, it would be better for conversions to sculpt such weapons along with the gripping hand.

Wait to see the Incubus.

Kevin could sculpt the areas to be less pointy and still solve the undercut. Nevermind other areas of the models have undercuts.

Image
In this case, the package and all the wrinkles even added a deeper zone that could tear the rubber. And undercut between chest, beard and hair... maybe head will be separate in the metal cast, but if not, bigger undercut than some packages.

I'm considering getting the "FIVE EIGHT".

But to make them more astronautical, they'll need some backpack that I'll have to buy aftermarket.

Any suggestions?
I browsed around, but most bits are GW style. Is there anything more hi-tech and stylish? Someting similar to the Bolts/Fusilier backpack, but possibly bigger.

Aren't there Hasslefree backpacks? Both hi-tech jump-packs and more or less modern combat packs (bottom of the page)?

There's a diorama that's been on the back of my head for a long time now, and part of it is a harem. I guess it'll include supernatural critters now

It wouldn't be unrealistic if the supernatural creatures (especially such NSFW ones ;)) were real-size sculptures 9a matter of paintjob in fact).

You want another, racy, crazy (and difficult to make in28mm-or-so scale) and yet perfectly historically accurate idea?

Make the statue a fountain, peeing into a basin. There are more , but good ol' Maneken Pis is the most innocent-looking one ;)

More resins, this is a pack, but also avaliable alone:

And some of the last modern soldiers became avaliable in metal too.

Beautiful poses and dynamic, something even Corvus Belli could learn from.
And the 9mm being actioned is precious.

But my usual Kev critics applies: heads and hands are too big, legs too short.

They already had some "these are not L4D minis" including both survivors and special zombies from both games, but seems like they weren't theirs, and i guess Kev couldn't help but give a shot at this, i like that trend.

Missed that entirely. but zombies as a genre bore me. Ever since they started to run and generally not do the mindless shambolic legions thing. Oh and when they dropped the satire part of mall zombies.

I've not even played the FIRST res evil game - the last computer game I played with zombies in it was Wolfenstein 3D.
