Zoomed in version. Given the shoulder pads and how they match the drawing given at Ficzone, that's Terracotta with HMG.

The head looks really good, much better than what I was expecting. CB has really stepped it up a notch between this and most of the Icestorm models... and have made me happy... for now...

Yeah I think the orange stripes on the face look pretty bad. Giraldez will make it look beautiful, but no Hac Tao of mine is getting a savage looking helmet like that...

I see what Carlos was meaning when he said Icestorm was enveloping the Aesthetic that Infinity was meant for. I'm very glad that these models fall in step with those new aesthetic choices,too. All in all great sculpts. I'll look forward to my other Yu Jing sectorial.

At Gencon last year, Bostria said that models with certain face masks, like the Hac Tao and the Daofei have, would be in the same sectorial. Some kind of wolf mask theme or something. You will probably be seeing a Daofei redo with a similar head in the near future, possibly with the Guilang as well.

On this note, now that I'm able to look at new Hac Tao more intently, he's basically got the new Invincible armour with the Hac Tao mask and different bits on his back and behind the shoulders. Similar, but still distinct. I like it - it makes sense to see a bit of standardization in Yu Jing.

Isn't there a fairly new Hac Tao model? Kinda surprised they're redoing them. Pleasantly surprised though cos that's awesome! And the Terracotta Soldier is incredible.

And anything that makes Guges happy again is a win in my books

Yeah, the HMG model is the newest, ~1.5 years old I think? It had a subtle redesign too.

I really don't mind them redoing the Hac Tao again. Especially if we can get a new HMG.

Interesting. I like the unification of design, but I already have 3 Hac Tao. Once I see the model I will decide. Maybe I will push the old Hac Tao (and Daofei?) into my Public Security collection. The big Hac Tao multirifle makes an excellent Batou!

I really like the way Infinity is heading on a "global" stylistic way.

The new Terracotta Soldier supports this - I can't wait for the "real deal" pics, but what I have seen so far is excellent already. The Hac Tao? I only ever liked the HMG one anyway (love that one to its bits though), so an evolution in that way is more than fine with me. How long does it usually take from "revealed concept art" to "released model" though? A year? So I guess there is some time before we'll see the actual model...

Now just give me the Terracotta already, dammit!

I actually like the old Multi Hactao the best! Sure its old, but still very good. Same goes for the old Wu Ming. These are the minis that broad me to the game.

The new power armor style is alright, but it somehow doesn't look a little blend for me. Its hard to tell what it actually is, but it just doesn't convince me.
From the new ones we now saw, the Terracotta is definitely the winner though, close second goes to the MB. The Orc is alright, and the Father Knight I even find a little hideous.

I wonder if they update the Hac taos sword, like in the art too. it looks longer or thinner than the ones the YJ HI sport now.

Love the Terra Cotta soldiers - those are going to be a must have - almost as nice as the Mobile Brigada - almost. Not sure why they are redoing the Hac Tao. They just redid them not that long ago - still its that stupid looking HMG that always prevented me from buying it so maybe this is a good thing. Not that impressed by the concept art, but the model may indeed be epic. Unification is a good thing.

In a lot of ways, the newer (chunkier) HI that CB have been putting out have reminded me a lot of that.

So while I love my old Hac Tao and it is responsible for getting me fully in to Infinity, I can't say I don't welcome a re-design. And the art for the new one looks absolutely stellar.
