I was browsing the Essen 2013 list on BGG, and had an instant brainspark of Spanish + miniatures + spiderbots = Infinity

I mean come on, CA proxies/conversion bits?

There's lots of nice renders and some fantastic concept sketches, but I can't find a single photo of an actual model on there, not even prototypes.

For the record I'm against proxys. That's how CB employees make a living.
Infinity is not 40K where you need 30+ models to play an average game.

And you're telling this to someone who has 2 factions with lots of spare units why? What's more, where I can live I could legally cast copies of CB's minis for my own use. I don't. So I'm not sure I'm the right target for this. And BTW, Total Extinction devs want to make a living as well. So do MAS, Bandua and many other companies, both CB partners and not. Would you have something against someone using non-official terrain?

The "only official models/partners" stance is what drove us to make this forum. We understand why Cb did it on the official board. We still made this one. Creativity needs freedom.

In fairness, you did pop into a thread to basically just point this out, adding nothing to the discussion whether or not these would make good proxies or not. It also felt implied(to me at least) that you were saying people who use proxies are stealing the food from CB's mouth or something, which is kinda inflammatory. Not saying this was your intent, but this wasn't a thread about whether proxies are okay or not.

Back on topic, I really dig these renders. Can't wait to see the final product. I'm not well versed with CA, so I can't say whether or not they'd make good remotes.

The biggest renders remind me of the Therian heavies from AT43. That's not a bad thing, but it's what jumps out at me.
