Now we need updated rules for the Azra'il and Seraph (Guija, I guess, will be staying the way it is).

Good month, with pretty models (Dactyl is the weakest link IMO, but still OK one).
They say there will be Heaven and the Fount of Kausar,
That there, there will be pure wine and honey and sugar
Fill up the wine cup and place it in my hand

I agree with you in everything :)
AzRa'il is the best for me, I'm still waiting for some changes in his profile, and the rest is also good, even if not in my taste. Overall - great month, with Aleph as the least cool mini (maybe in part because of my aversion for this army ;) ).

Dactyl is the best, for me: a believable sci-fi miniature, with lots of uses besides Infinity.

Van Zant is hollywood trash, Azrail looks like an obese bait for GW teenagers, and the TAGs... Yes, they are big and detailed, but I wish Corvus to go back to the times of Cutter and original Guijia, two handsculpted masterpieces...

I really love the new TAG designs, specially how they have managed to make them look very different from faction to faction.
I can't wait for the lizard and salamander to get the new treatment!

And Errhile you can go to the main infinity website to find the new profile for the seraph ;)

I can't, it is crashed :P

Naw, I've got a word from Stiopa during a game today. Seraph sounds... pretty beefed up.
From what I've heard, that is. Seemingly it became a highly mobile MBT or close to that, instead of the light TAG we were used to.

As usual, we shall see how it turns out on the table :)

My poor wallet agrees with you...

Though Cypherkk commented that the AP HMG means that the Feuerbach Azrail will never see the table again... I think I'm going to buy both, even though I don't plan on playing any Haqq faction that can take them.

Really?

They both are on the darkest, farthest end of my "to buy" list, and even there - with a big question mark. Unless HSN3 revamps them into something more to my liking (or, in case of the AP HMG, field tests show him to be a great success. And that requires some serious testing).

The Geckos (and the Iguana) are fine as they are.
Unless you suggest there will be more Gecko profiles, warranting another box set.

I mean, more Gecko variants would be interesting. Not necessary for the TAG to be playable (Geckos are cool :D), but there might be potential.

I like the new TAG's, but my wallet is happy, because there is nothing for my faction, maybe next month when the new Domaru's are released.

Am I the only one who likes the current Lizard design? It's just so different from existing designs! Besides the novelty, it's neat that it incorporates the weapons into the arms and that there isn't a too strong desire to simply "make a big human".

same for me, I like the concept but the execution is lacking. I remember a conversion someone did that was basically just a repose that looked great. That showed the potential the model had

I reckon that Lizard is awesome even as it is. Brutal, realistic, an essential war machine. Also, don't forget that it was the first TAG ever to be sculpted with the exposed pilot arms interface, in a calligraphic homage to Shiro Masamune...

But I also agree that a reposing would make it even more awesome. It's seven years that I'm dreaming of reposing it, but I lack time and inspiration. Legs, especially, should be totally re-articulated (hip, knee, foot) and resculpted where sawed/destroyed in the process. It's too much for me, at the moment.

Yep, I remember the Lizard duo jumping and landing, and there were others running. It would had been easier with better splits. Same with Szalamandra, with some chopping, it gets a lot more dynamic.

Those Lizards are masterpieces, and, as such, professional or at least semipro work.

Look at the newly resculpted torso, and the resculpted parts in green stuff and milliput. This is amazing, but beyond my skills. Also, it looks like pilot's arms had to go, but the result is great anyway.

Yeah those Lizards are awesome. I'm all in if CB decided to do a resculpt/repose like that or something similar, whilst keeping the weird design that makes the Lizard so unique.

The salamander I still don't like, but I don't even like the concept art so I guess that's it for me :P

Somebody mentioned (don't remember where) that CB said that non-humanoid miniatures don't sell as well as the rest. I hope that doesn't mean that all TAGs are gonna be "big humans" like Claudius Sol said.

The Szalamandra reminds me of the Michelin tires mascotte, and I wouldn't get it even for free.

But I've no less than four friends, who consider it the best TAG ever and play Nomads because of it. Basically, a miniature that either you love or hate.

For the record, I don't fancy the Szalamandra, but I love the Lizard. Though in my gaming group, I'm in the minority with the Lizard love. I don't think anyone loves the Szally though.

Have you read the manga "Red Eyes"?

That's why I'm buying all the S5 HI. Dunno if I'm going to buy two new Guijia or not, but I totally want a Seraph for the "TAG showroom" terrain piece I have been kicking around. More like a trade show, with all the different makers represented. Could probably use the old Guijia as early/low-end PanO TAGs like Scarface.

The Guija is a work of art, think that is one of the favourite TAG releases so far.

Nothing wrong with the design imo, it's just an unappealing pose. Looks like it is sat in the warehouse waiting for someone to come dust it.
