ITS lists?

by matt » February 27th, 2013, 5:25 pm

Hi,
I'm an infinity IT'S virgin and looking to pop the cherry, was hoping you could help me out as to what type of lists tend to be seen at tourneys.
After help as usually I just pick pretty models when I'm playing normally but obviously need to aim to be more competitive.
Cheers

Unlike other games, the concept of the "netlist" has yet to take off in Infinity - due to every model being capable of bringing down the bigger dudes.

There's no such thing as an "auto include", and likewise, no such thing as an auto exclude.

Best bet for ITS is to bring models you know VERY well, and that you know how they can work together well.

Also, find out the format in advance. If it's just who kills more stuff, than you'll want to go with high damage output lists, if it's scenarios that require more strategy than going on a killing spree, than you'll need to bring the right type of troops for the scenarios.

For example, if they do Paradiso-style missions for the tournament, you might need to field very effective hackers or engineers.
In the hexagonal future, there is only war.
