Go with rigid epoxies, easier to sand down to mechanical shapes. You could too reuse the metal tabs for this task, if you cut them.

Another handy trick I use is to hold or rest a sheet of frosted paper between the light and the mini

If the strongest light is behind, a paper is not going to solve the issue, just diffuse the light, and the front will still be dark.

Yes, you can participate with as many models as you like! (though the sum is only one entry, not multiple)
Spec-Ops models are entirely allowed!

just to clarify - 13éme MOBLOTS Engineer - I need only model with all weapons stated in profile for this specialization (they almost same but only 1 real model have shootgun on the backpack)?

If there is a specialist profile (hacker, doctor, forward observer, etc) for that model and the model is equipped appropriately (ie. the sniper rifle fusilier won't count as a forward observer or medic), then it's game! You don't need ALL the weapons. You just can't have weapons that the profiles doesn't state.
