Too bad we cant just use the small nomad combi rifle as a SMG. They look perfect for it, that and I think it would be fun to have SMGs with my Riot Grrls.

MarcoSkoll wrote:I have to be honest, both the HMG Intruder and Sin-Eater look like they should have their weapon replaced with a guitar.

The Sin-Eater is posed like an egotistical lead guitarist, foot up on one of the stage speakers - and the Intruder is a bassist, stance spread wide and balanced so he can be doing a hair windmill. Unfortunately, he's forgotten he doesn't have long hair.

We could run with this theme; the Securitate's HMG could be replaced with a keyboard, the Moira can have a microphone, and the Alguacil, given she appears to be inspecting something she's picked out of her nose, is probably worthy of some drum sticks. (Hooray, drummer jokes!)

In this case, HMG is clearly an acronym for Heavy Metal Group.

If I actually had the spare budget, I'd do this.

Somewhere on the official forum there's a photo mockup of the Sin Eater with guitar...

Nomads weapons are going to change.

When the new Corregidor Jusrisdictional Command starter pack is released, the new desing of the Nomads weapons will appear.
This means a new redesign, re-sculpt and size of the whole nomad weapon range.
Combi Rifles, Spitfire, Sniper Rifles, HMGs all of them.

This information comes from the spanish forum.

If this is true it will mean a huge change for the whole nomad faction... I mean... the army will not have the same look. Old miniatures and new miniatures will be different...
yes, appart from the fact that they are much better nowadays.

Since the Wildcats, Riot Grrls and SpecOps are all carrying standard Nomad weapons in the Paradiso books, I highly doubt the weapons will be completely revamped. The look of the Alguaciles and Intruders will almost certainly change as has the Hellcat.

I think any changes will be small, if any. But the HMG definitely needs to be replaced by a gee-tarr.

Tempting... doing a band from these guys wouldn't even be that off the wall - some bands do dress up in military uniform.

It comes with different stats depending on what he's playing. Dragonforce is +2 burst, The Who ignores negative range modifiers (after all, "I can see for miles"), Spinal Tap is +1 damage, Meat Loaf takes four orders to play the whole thing, and Rick Astley means the target model has to pass WIP or commit suicide.

Interesting rumour. A bit disturbing... while I never liked most of Nomad weapons, I recently started warming up to them, even the HMG... I don't know either I'm hopefull or worried.
The whole thing does seem unlikely ( a whole revamp of faction weapon designs, thats a precedent) BUT what imho makes it somewhat believable is that we are obviously at the beginning of the corregidor cycle. Moiras box is the last thing Bakunin seriously needed, and if they are doing it now it means to me they are laying off Bakunin for a longer time
So all the new weapon concepts will be limited to corregidor, so there will be some form of logic behind in it, making it less jarring. So yeah, unlikely, but I could see that happen. Makes me even more curious about Corregidor box.

Yup, that is what I forsee. Bakunin is almost all done save for few loadouts, whith most of the miniatures being new and shiny. Corregidor is missing a lot and in dire need of resculpts. I thought they will wait with Moira box (the last substantial gap in Bakunin imho) to throw it in the middle of corregidor releases not to get monotonous, but this seem not to be the case. After Moiras I expect corregidor, more corregidor, and for something completly different - corregidor. Sort of like Knights in PanO.
