Hi everyone! Next monday the pre-order of 3rd Edition Rulebook of Infinity (N3) begins! This is the pre-order info:

Pre-order from October 13th to November 13th, both inclusive.
All N3 books reserved during the reserve period will include the exclusive "Authorized Bounty Hunter" miniature that will never be available for retail sale. Every pre-order, at our online store or your favourite FLGS will include this exclusive miniature.
MSRP= 59.95€
Shipments on December 8th 2014 (Tentative date).

N3 books info:

Full color books.
Estimated number of pages: Background: 180 pages; Rules: 275 pages
Binding: Soft cover. Both books are content in a case.
Available in English or Spanish.

With art, lots of tables, unit lists and stats, more precIsE language... Shouldn't be that bad.

I hope it's not just rules in a 10pt font;)

How big are the books? Is it the same format as N2/HS/Paradiso, or smaller?

I've read in the official forum, that books are of smaller format, but I cannot recall who, when and where mentioned this. He/she also said that the amount add text is comparable to N2 or a bit more.

When I look at the actual wiki, that's absolutely fine if done right. If everything is just put right and "no" further clarifications are needed, then it's just ok.

Since the preorder ends in early November, and the rules should be already there once ITS 2015 hits us, I'd guess you should be able to put your copy of the N3 under your Christmas tree

I'd wager that's the date that CB will start shipping out the books. Hard for them to dictate when anything else will happen.

Key factor there is when they get the books from the printer. I figure shipping will start a day or two after getting the books from the printer. Based on all the KS shipping reports, it takes a couple days to unpack from the en masse shipping boxes/pallets, inspect a couple examples, and repack into smaller boxes for shipping. Though I also suspect that ACD or whoever handles Infinity distribution in the US is getting a couple whole dang pallets of books.

I should probably order through the FLGS then. My book would probably get lost in the Xmas mail.
