I can just imagine that Kameel skulking around while everyone ignores it. Then it pulls that giant dish out of its bag, pops it on, and BAM!!

And after that, he adds a monocle to the dish, like a boss :D

Listening to the new episode of Mayacast I managed to finished another remote. This one's an Aleph one. I'm painting Aleph-Minis for a friend, and we both don't like the Probots - so I made a backpack for the Rebot (it's magnetised, the other options aren't finished though) to proxy for a Probot in out upcoming Campaign: Paradiso. Not totally happy with him, but at least he's done. I have to finish two more remotes, one Kameel and one Rebot/Probot, before we start on August the 10th - I hope I can do that without pulling an allnighter the day before :)

I really like the highlighting you've done on that white. It's subtle, yet pronounced enough to notice it at a glance.

If you're using a pure white to highlight, what's your base? A more cream color? It certainly looks to be on the warmer, rather than cooler, side of colors.

@Claudius Sol: The white is (over a white basecoat) Vallejo Bonewhite, then a ca. 50-50 mix of Bonewhite and pure white and then the white edge highlights.

And, as I'm posting anyways, more old stuff!

Thanks Harlekin!

@Arachas: No, he's built straight out of the box (well blister in this case). The rock he's standing on is just pretty low, so it blends well into the base :-)

Nice tats on the Para HMG!

I need to find the rifles for my Kameels and attach one to each. Or at least one to the Kameel not packing the EVO antenna.

I tried giving her some freckles, and I am reasonably happy with how they turned out. Of course, from more than 20cm away, you can't see them anyway :)

I'm fairly sure Mr. Freeman has liver spots, not freckles. But you're right, freckles can appear on people with a darker complexion, it's just rare.

Well now that that's cleared  (@Icchan: I have actually no idea if Mr. Freeman has liver spots or freckles, he was just the first example that came to mind)

New update, but sadly in way worse photo quality, as I had to use my old (very old) camera again. I'll try to get better pics as soon as I have the good camera available again.

@Maru: Do you mean Thamyris or the civvie? The second one was supposed to have a bit of a sunburn on his face (he's really not used to this "outside" thing), the first one... well i guess it would be in character for him :D
