Anaconda Squad - Should I buy it?

Hey guys, Im relatively new to Infinity (played a couple of games) and Im in the process of obtaining an army.

Is the Anaconda as good as it looks? Because that's one sweet looking model.

Its no Jotum or Cutter, but she's a tough workhorse for her points. As a light TAG, don't expect her to take a lot of punishment, though; but even when it goes down, the pilot totes a spitfire, and escapes under a smoke template. I like her a lot, though I always just run her a Merc TAG, as I don't run Merovingians(yet).

Suweet. I love the look of the thing. I wonder how well it fits into a Merovingian army. My gut says it fits in well enough, given their lack of heavy dudes.

I've had some decent success with the Anaconda on MRRF ITS lists at 250+ points. Definitely not a bad model to have in your arsenal.

yep, works pretty nicely in MRRF, they dont really have much that can take a hit, so between the anaconda and the mirage 5 team you've got some good options

The only argument you should have for buying a model is whether or not you like it.

If I let utility decide whether or not I got something, I'd never have got the Cutter or Dragoes. (I don't play vanilla or ASA - so it's not like I can use either of them ... ) or the Lizard for the nomads.

Lol.... it's really nice to get a mix of utility and love for a model though, especially when on a budget. I was looking at the Anaconda as well, but I'll be getting the new Antipodes, and possibly Yojimbo, first.

Still. It's on my list for my future MRRF.

I like the Anaconda because it can give MRRF the opportunity to bring a TAG at 200 points! Not much heavy duty stuff to take it down at that level!
