Would be really weird, as they are named from non-EI perspective. I doubt humans would define themselves as the ignorant/the blind and the EI as the light that can guide them.

Interestingly, all of the EI units (except Avatar, which is Hindi) have so far been Greek: Skiavoros, Charontid, etc. The fluff says the the EI picks the Earth names based on traditional human mythology to explain and intimidate.

The "Umbral Legate" is Latin. Very Latin. I wonder if this indicates a difference in style.

Also, the name is very similar to the Skiavoros. Skia - voros = Shadow Eater, those who destroy the darkness where the EI doesn't rule. Umbral Legate = Shadow Ambassador: those who negotiate with the darkness where the EI doesn't rule, maybe? Interesting.

I think that there's some fluff thing about Aleph being "bringing heroes out of legend to inspire humanity against monsters." Maybe Paradiso in the ASS fluff? Not sure.

Yeah, it seems like all the new stuff we're seeing is for the new Sectorials, even if those won't be out as part of N3. We've now seen stuff for Kazaks, Tunguska, USAriadna, Invincible Army, EI, etc.

I like to view this as CB focusing on vanilla.

To elaborate, Legates were Roman politicians who headed up military expeditions to other countries (essentially generals as per IJW), or else ambassadorial roles (often much the same thing where Rome was concerned). Also applied to foreign ambassadors to Rome. It is the root term "legation," a lower level diplomatic office. Given the EI fluff, the Roman designation is apt.

Haven't written it yet. Should be before the weekend, though. I'm still recovering from my trip. Managed to stave off a sore throat until last night. Funny what 30-40 demos does to you... ( I think I'm using Hyperbole here, but I seriously lost count )

But yeah. Working on writing that out real soon.

Hell yeah, my Pan'O are getting off to a good start! However, with Father Knight, Joan, and Konstantinos, its looking like I'm leaning MO.

I love Neo's and Military order for Pan-O, so I expect to end up with a sizeable collection.
Joan figure looks nice as is, surprised she is up for a new sculpt, don't doubt for one minute that it will be very nice.

Would have thought Yu-Ying (sp?) would get some love before Pan-O. Out of all the sculpts I find them a touch lacking.

You'll need to order Angel's Painting book. It's not yet finished. I think he hopes to have it done next year some time. I can't remember if he said spring or fall.

Arachas, I took one of Angel's masterclasses. If you're as much a perfectionist as me when it comes to miniature painting... You'll want the book. In two hours, I had an amazing face that would've taken me 10 hours, otherwise. It feels slow, but the results are of a much higher caliber than you'd think, given the time you spend.

I can't recommend his book enough!
