I think if CB wanted to be in the business of making terrain they would have entered into it a few years ago when there wasn't really anyone making it for Infinity. I'd be shocked if they made a move into this area now
Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense to be making that move now, unless they had wanted to earlier and now suddenly had the funding for it.
And honestly, pure die-cut cardboard (a recent KS and the Trinity Battleground terrain) or card+plastic (Mordheim) would make more sense for CB, IMO.
Diecut card is simple, and as long as your die is good, pretty hard to mess up.
