I think if CB wanted to be in the business of making terrain they would have entered into it a few years ago when there wasn't really anyone making it for Infinity. I'd be shocked if they made a move into this area now

Yeah, doesn't make a lot of sense to be making that move now, unless they had wanted to earlier and now suddenly had the funding for it.

And honestly, pure die-cut cardboard (a recent KS and the Trinity Battleground terrain) or card+plastic (Mordheim) would make more sense for CB, IMO.

Diecut card is simple, and as long as your die is good, pretty hard to mess up.

Keep the normal starters as metal, but reduce the entry cost to the game.

Not cost effective for them.

We're talking about $10,000 for each injection-molding 'tool', so a minimum of 2 tools, probably 3.

And CB will only sell ONE of those boxes to each person. Not enough sales to make it worth the investment on their end.

Penny of Aleph rides a Yu Jing Bike. Also, maybe Haqqislam makes the bikes and USAriadna bought them? They are really chummy, and fluff wise Pan'O makes TAGs for multiple factions.

It is in the US, but none of the Spain Cons have a giant Spanish flag... that and "Two extra new Kum Sculpts" doen't seem like a really big announcement. It'd make a lot of sense to debut the US Sectorial at the biggest US event, however.

That does seem most likely. I doubt the flag has anything to do with GenCon, that is what the GenCon logo is for :-)

In the latest Krug podcast "Bostria" said that the current focus for Ariadna was the Kazaks and that the US Ariadna still was very open and undefined. So I don't think there will be a sectorial release. Maybe a character/mercenary or a single new troop type for US Ariadna, but not more.

I agree. Those bikes do not scream Infinity-era futuristic style. The choppers just look ridiculous in a combat setting.

I kind of like the mad max thing going on, and would like to point out that a Crotch Rocket is hardly a great choice for a combat zone... or any motorcycle, really.
