Wierd situation yesterday

I had a friendly game with a mate yesterday. We ran into a strange situation. he rolled up with a Bulleteer remote and I had 2 Muyibs ARO, the Spitfire Muyib choose dodge and the LGL Muyib chose to drop a smoke grenade in the firing lane of the Bulleteer as AROs. The Bulleteer then decides to hose the spitfire and therefore makes the smoke a normal roll. My question is: Is the smoke then able to cancel the bulleteers hail of bullets towards the spitfire muyib (if it hits home that is), as it happens in the same place? How would you play this?

Since the smoke-template is placed at the end of the order it can't cancel the bullets from the Bulleteer. It all happens at the same time.

That's a good question Joe! Here's how I see it, Face-to-Face rolls go first and then Normal rolls if I am correct.
So the bot and the Muyib will do their thing and then the LGL gets to make it's normal roll.

The rolls all happen at the same time, but pretty much by definition a Normal roll can't have any effect on other rolls.
