So what faction are these bikers? They look pretty Merc, but I'm not familiar with Kum.

Any chopper fan wanting to try Paris Dakar? It's in South America now, but still lots of desert.

Let's leave it as "rule of cool" plus "targeting new markets". The miniatures are nice alone, but the look is more USAriadna with half decent roads.

I know a couple guys that would be game for it. One has passed some punk on a 600 sportbike on the inside of a corner on a full-dress Goldwing (aka "Wing-abego", with all the saddlebags on it). Then again, they're also debating the Isle of Man TT this year... crazy [expletives deleted]

yeah, though I have some allegedly-paved roads around here that I'd like to discuss with you in terms of "half decent"...

I'm thinking about a mishmash Haqq biker gang. Couple stolen Tsurugis (translation, one box), the old monos, whatever the hell it is that Penny rides (seriously, that thing is hyuuuuuuge, bigger than a Valkyrie!), and these new choppers. Because no self-respecting Harley biker gang will have more than 2 bikes alike (brothers or his&hers).

Still, kinda lame that they got bigger bases. Haqq having them AND the Margarita is kind of annoying in that aspect.

If only we could have these drug dealing, gun running bad boys dismounted on small bases as well.

Woke up with maths itch. Area of a disc is π * r². So in relative terms π goes away, leaving 20² / 12.5² = 400 / 156.25 = 2.56 times smallest base, and 27.5² / 12.5² = 756.25 / 156.25 = 4.84 times. New motorbikes are greater bullet magnets, specially if armed with chainrifles as they don't benefit from bigger source.

Looks like one is sculpted with a Chain Rifle, and one with a regular Rifle. They also have both Smoke Grenades and a Smoke LGL for optimal range band selection.

Kum get 55mm bases now? Where the hell do you buy 55mm bases? That's not the Evil Empire "Dreadnought" base size...

Isn't that the same as the original box? One chain, one rifle?

Oh, that's right, the Kum bike has a built-in Smoke LGL... I'd forgotten than!

One guy rides a Valk, the other rides the Wing. And yes, he WOULD ride the Wing for the TT. Might persuade him to take the hard bags off, but I won't take odds on it (he's used to having the hardsiders on there for weight and balance, after all).

Like I said, crazy [expletives deleted]s!!!

Neither the 40mm is the Terminator base, IIRC. Don't worry, there will be ways to get them, just like the new 25mm ones with magnet support.

Infinity is getting Dropships and Vehicles?

At Salute on Saturday I spoke to the guys at http://www.antenocitisworkshop.com/ . They had some really cool Infinity news.
First up they had the prototypes of their new Infinity buildings and they looked great! I really liked it and will be buying it as soon as it is out.

Image

But the big news is their future plans
They are going to be releasing faction specific dropships! The designs are currently being reviewed by Corvus Belli. The chap said they had some dropships, then the official Infinity element came in so they had to be re designed with factions in mind. There are 3 designs currently. He wouldn’t tell me which factions though. So I guessed Pan-O, a Yu-Jing and Aleph. He said I got two right. It’s got to be Pan-O and Yu-Jing as Aleph was a stupid guess. He wouldn’t tell me the third 
He then told me about their upcoming kickstarter. It is for civie vehicles designed for Infinity. I’m quite interested in this. I think vehicles make great looking terrain for Infinity. I had a battle in car park the other day 
I then asked about vehicles in games. He gave me a ‘ I’d like to tell you something awesome but I can’t ’ smile. He said something along the lines of Corvus Belli are looking at ‘moving the game on’. I asked him if that meant the drop ships and vehicles can be used by troops in the game and he smiled and repeated that Corvus Belli are going to be moving the game on. I’m choosing to take this as we are getting transport options to move guys around and it sounds like Antenocitis are gonna be at the forefront of this change. So I don’t have anything concrete but I can tell you the guy at Antenocitis was excited  As am I.

Looks like it. I bet the dropships and vehicles will be more along the lines of scenery elements... but TAGs aren't too OP so I guess we will see something like light vehicle rules.

I'd love to have interactive scenery for the cars. Need a distraction? hack a parked car, drive it to block LOS, move troops.

Something like that. :P

I'll have to keep my eyes open for the Antenociti's cars KS, as I could use a whole pile more civilian autos.

I wouldn't hold my breathe on the Yaogats they have helf their quality over time much better than the Yanguards and Daturazi no if another Morat boxset is coming out soon I'd bet my life on it being the Suryats and Kornak Gazarot as a blister somewhere.

I'm still really surprised that Kornak Gazarot didn't make in into the MAF start boxset seems a much better choice to have made it in over the extra Sogarat or even the Raktorat but hey you get what you get and the Raktorat makes a perfect proxie for Kornak anyway.

I agree on the Suryats box first, but does anyone have some comparisons of the MAF starter Vanguard next to a Yaogat?
