I don't like it either, seems a bit lazy. Just make the best pose mini, with the limitation the weapon gives you! I'd say!
Big weapons never was an issue before doing dynamic poses. See "jumping over the wall Wulver"! That guy is the most dynamic mini one could think of! Its a pain in the ass as gaming piece, but it didn't stop them, did it?
Or just leave the weapon of! worked great in the past also, see Bran Do Castro, Senor Massacre! Compare that to the new Daturazi.

I am not surprised at all by the sales of any model that can be taken by Steel Phalanx. They are one one of the best factions to take in ITS.

Not just ITS, either. They're a very strong sectorial all around. The easy access to reliable and even link able smoke and the prevalence of ODD is outstanding. The only thing to complain about in the ASS is the expense at which specialists come.

you are disappointed that so many people like them, want them and are perfectly happy to purchase them? seems kind of selfish to me. I don't especially like the format myself, but I am happy the CB seems to have figured out a winning combo.

How much is the modelling factor, and how much is for rules?

With the O-Yoroi and Anaconda, they are visually striking (the O-Yoroi is one of the things that drew attention to the game for me), and the latter doesn't even get to go with normal lists being a mercenary.

The Merovingians might have something to say about Anaconda availability!

So, anyone notice that the IMPERIAL AGENT logos are "Hsien" and (bear with my google translate...) "Combat Eagle"? :D

If the eagle part implies flight and there is AD beyond the Garuda in the Imperial Service, that would be great. It won't be so great if its like a flying Pheasant for 50-ish points.

I would bet on this. Pheasant< Crane<Eagle. Sounds rather logical. Doesn't mean it can fly.

AD/SuperJump HI fits much more into the Invincible Army.

Right, I'm just wishlisting about what it would bring to the table that the other agents don't. I'd actually prefer it to not be at the top of the food chain between Crane and Hsien because it'll be in the 60 point range, and the Imperial Service doesn't need more expensive options.

Mhh, good point.

I guess having a MI agent could close a gap. Or a Skirmisher, so they don't have to rely on second grade citizens.

I'd take an MI or Infiltrator if its in that 30-ish point area. I always feel like my Imperial lists are 3 big guys and the rest mooks because that's what I have points for without leaning on a tide of Kuang Shi.

No info about how many sales are for gaming and how many for painting. Or if there are confusions about mission vs full mini game. Add the completionist obsession of some.

Let's see the contents:
DF boxes in top 10

Many females, some pop culture references, great dioramas. (Aleph Support has also became a staple)

Also notice females in non combat poses becoming the norm for other profiles, not just DF civilians. And that the top seller was Penthesilea. Follow the boobies.
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

I came up with 'Swift Eagle' for the new Agent. Thing is, eagle is not a traditional Scholar's bird, nor is it a traditional Military animal ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mandarin_square#Tables )!

I'm hoping for this to be a decent MI, though a Tiger-equivalent doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. I mean, it'd have to be a pretty good statline to compete with the Garuda, and yet another freaking lightsaber is going to piss me off.

What on earth makes you think that the "Ninja" is actually one of the Japanese variety? China has had intelligence agencies for the last 5000 years! (Hence why my IS Ninja has the Pheasant Agent's sword).
“I'm curious, son. When has 'This might be a trap' ever stopped you?”
“Stopped? Never. Slowed me down while I load the guns? Every time.”
