Actually no Exrah in N3... that's surprising. I expected merely a case of "Out of production" and not "Removed from play".

About the Ragik HMG. Funny thing how the old Haqq HMGs look just like the new Haqq spitfires, eh? At least the version the Ragiks carry.

AD with HMG was far too good anyway. A Spitfire on those models makes a ton more sense.

Makes me worry about the Intruder HMG though. It doesn't have a model yet, which might be a telling sign...

We'll still have tons of AD3 with HMG's. Hellcats, Crusader Brethren, Garuda Tactbots, Ekdromoi, Gao-Tarsos...
Garuda's even resemble Tigers with their mimetism.

Oh I agree that under N3 rules HMG is going to make much less sense than a Spitfire on an Air Deployed model. And the Sniper Rifle (though I don't really recall any AD Sniper being actually released as a model).

Shotguns, on the other hand... Haqqislam is going to no longer invoke a "shotgun tax" liability. Esepecially on drop troops like Ragik (well, I expressed hope for a BS Ragik myself once I heard about the +6 point-blank modifier) and Bashi Bazouk.

If it was about balance, they'd modify the rest of ADHMGs too. The newer models are suspiciously exempt from that.
