I've been playing for over a month or so at this point, and I have a relatively not-awful grasp on the rules and play of the game. I don't face my models into walls or leave them in the open too much anymore, I cover my corners with order-monkies and deploy so that AD in my DZ is gonna catch alot of fire. That being said some things still elude me. I may very well have lost last night's game because I didn't know/remember ARO's may only target the activating unit & I shot a daturazi with a para HMG point blank instead of another that would have been outside large template range. The star of last night's game was definitely a volunteer HMG. He took out a daturazi, a couple of suryats, and a yaogat that happened to be my opponents lieutenant. Kinda made my new antipodes look like chumps, as they only managed to devour a kurgat before getting mash-potatoed by daturazis. I still really liked them, as they hopscotched across the table turn 1 on 3 orders and did make sure that I had clear corners. Anyways I really discovered how effective HMG suppression can be, effectively holding the game up 3 turns by blocking off half the table with a couple of entrenched MG's. Also the first game with 2 CG's, and I realized A: I need more orders in each, as I was at 8 game start in each and then went down with antipodes dying, and B: Having 16 orders to throw around almost won me the game. I want 20. This is the bomm. 300pts in Ariadna seems to be kind of a sweet spot where you have enough points and SWC it becomes extremely uncomfortable trying to shoehorn it all into 1 CG, but a slight stretch into 2. Anyways enough words, I wanted some expert eyes to look over my list for this weekend. IF YOU ARE READING THIS NICK STOP!!! I KNOW YOU TROLL THE INTERNET AT WORK!!
