In my opinion, the Cateran is a better sniper choice with his T2 rifle. The Spetsnaz can take an HMG for active turn Combat Camo high burst strikes, with the benefits of reduced penalties from Marksmanship.

Since the Cateran can't re-camo anyways, he can sit in overwatch for AROs with the potential for 2 wounds due to T2 ammo.

You mentioned really wanting to use the Scout, I like throwing that out as an Lt that can't be identified easily, especially when mixed in with 5 other markers across the centerline. Using a rifle Metro or Volunteer gives a decoy Lt for them to hunt though.

I tend to start off every list with Uxia Covert Action, 3 foxtrot FOs, and two chasseur Minelayers, then build and tweak from there. This gives a solid core of specialists and a lot of camo markers to mess with your opponent. Uxia and her Superior Infiltration is an excellent model for either forward objectives, Sabotage classified objectives, and/or rambo slaughter right up in your opponents DZ.

Ah okay. Well i want to use the scout for the awesome new model, i know their rules arent anything special but I ordered him the other day and i want to use him i do like the Cateran though... i put the scout sniper and cateran in and it was 301 points Also i want to use the Spetsnaz sniper as i have the model for him and i like to be wysiwyg where possible (i know im being picky and making it more difficult for myself...)

I gotta put in another vote for the Scout Lieutenant. Having a lieutenant that you can hide anywhere on your side of the board is pretty handy.

Okay, definitely gonna try it out just proxy the ap sniper as an ojotnik.

What models do you guys use for the Foxtrots?

The Foxtrot LGL blister is a better model than the sniper IMO. I actually just finished a conversion where I shaved down the LGL weapon body to turn it into a rifle.

I love the male one but hate the female one, but there's three in that list and I don't wanna use three of the same model.
