Acontecimento list - 300pt SpecOps

My current crack at an ITS list featuring the Dragoe is below. I feel like its a bit short on Specialists, but with the Dragoe taking up a lot of SWC it reduces the options for cheap specialists. I may also have too many remotes, but I really like those things.

In both lists, but especially the first you have a lot of models (4) that you will want to spend orders on as they are heavy hitting alpha strike units (not reactive ones). And they are all competing for the same orders. Splitting the drones/TAG between groups would help a lot.

Heck, dropping the Sapper and Indigo into the second group and moving the TAG and peacemakers up would work well

Problem is both of those models can be a part of the link team. I particularly like having the sniper in the link team early on, before switching it up and having them move forward. That group has worked pretty well for me.

An option in the first list would be to drop the Bulleteer and make it 3 8 point remotes to beef up that second order pool. I could also potentially add in an FO to the link team, albeit at the cost of making my lieutenant more obvious. I might try that out, as it might make that 2nd group a bit more focussed.

The second list I haven;t actually played yet, will give it a few games to see how it plays - I'm finding playability on the table is a big thing in this game, particularly when it comes to how the groups re structured.

Had a game with that last Guarda list yesterday. Was pretty happy with how it performed. The Peacemakers didn't see much action due to the board being sniper dominated against 3 enemy snipers - they did make for pretty effective corner guards though. The Nagas worked well though, and the Minelayer/BS profile is really nice.

In the other group, the Guarda worked very nicely, and the Zero V Smoke was very handy on a couple of occasions. BS15 is just nuts.

If you finding your spending allot of time of more open boards consider the Bulleteers instead of the Peace Makers. The slight saving in points can be used elsewhere too. The offset is you lose that midfield control elimite and no disposable HFL Intuivite attacks from the Auxbots.

I'm having trouble bringing myself to critic you're lists because I really don't feel the Acontecimento Regular lists work at least not to my play style so you're working in an area outside of my experience.

It's literally taken me 2 whole years to get to a point I feel I've buttoned down how I like my Acontecimento lists to work because they lack the utility of my Haqqislam range lesser amount of models owned + lesser amount of profiles to choose from so yeah the only solid advice I can give is play with them to you hit your groove and find your core.

You already have my and most Acontecimento players core anyway.

2 x Nagas
2 x Peacemakers/Bulleteers
1 x Pathfinder
1 x Link 4 or 5 man

Usually in that order too.

Everything else either is synergy for those, filler or mission specific.

Suitable model availability is a pretty big driver for me in Acontecimento. I don't like the Bagh Mari models, so won;t be using them until they get resculpted. In the meantime I'm using the copious Fusilier models as the Regulars, so they're my only link option.

After using them, I really need to test out a Dragoes list with Nagas in it, and probably just accept that I won't have my usual amount of orders and learn how to play that way.
