N3 Adventures with JSA

Hey Guys,

I have just picked up Infinity with a group of mates and after a half a dozen games with some hand-me-down PanO i have branched out into JSA. As a faction i really like the downtrodden lower class citizen/burning pride juxtapostion. Very cool, that and power armoured samuari, sexy bikers and ninja are just tidy, very tidy. I'll post my progress here both in hobby and game play as a bit of a running blog.

We play a lot of ITS missions and will be running through the pack like mad for an upcoming event in may. I have a really hard time trying to fit everything I like in the list, aka there are just not enough ninjas. But with what little experience I have it seems balanced.

Any thoughts, or suggestions for an upcoming ITS JSA player would be apprieciated but otherwise I'll post my progress here relatively frequently.

Just a thought, but the Oniwaban Lt. is very expensive. Not points, but SWC and limitation on ability. Because you'll typically want to deploy the Oniwaban in Hidden Deployment, you'd start the game in Loss of Lt. if you did so. I'd recommend making the Keisotsu combi your Lt. It's the only Lt. option you'd have on the board (unless the Lu Duan disguised as Asuka Kisaragi or a combi Aragoto), anyway. Plus, that's why you have the Kempeitai.

Otherwise, looks fairly fun to me.

Claudius Sol is right. The ONI Lt is tricky. He's a much stronger suicide commando. Try to think of the kempetai as a spare LT that you really don't want to promote.
