300/400pts (12xp Spec Ops) 3 Round Tournament
Official Nights
The Official Nights are the scheduled Slow Grow nights that will take place at DGHQ. The start time is 6pm and games must be concluded and packed up by 9pm. It will be up to each player to find an opponent and set up their own table. You can play as many games as you like within the allotted time. Games can be organised in advanced using the Infinity Canberra Facebook page. In general, try to avoid playing the same opponent on consecutive Official Nights.
Common Mission
Each of the Official Nights will have a Common Mission that all players must play at least once. The Common Missions will be made available before the Official Night so each player will get a chance to make a list that will be effective. Any points scored in this mission will go towards your overall slow grow score which will determine player rankings. There are no ‘do-overs’, you only get one chance to pay the Common Mission and have it count. Completing the Common Mission Objectives will give you Objective points. Objective points are accumulative from night to night and will determine your overall ranking.
Classified Objectives
Players will be able to draw their mission from a deck of cards. These missions are kept secret from your opponent. Completing them will give you Objective Points.
Spec Ops and Spec Ops Missions
Each force can include one Spec Ops figure using the rules from Campaign Paradiso. The available XP that can be spent on them will increase along with the size of the forces that you can field. Your Spec Ops can have different stats and equipment from night to night depending on what roll you want them to take on the battlefield.
On each night players will be able to draw cards from a deck in order to determine what their Spec Ops mission for the night is. Spec Op Points are received from completing the Spec Op mission. Spec Op Points will determine the rank and performance of your Spec Ops Character.
Catch Up Day
If for some reason you cannot make the official night then a Catch Up day will be arranged either at DGHQ or an alternative location. People who play in a Catch Up game are still eligible to be the Night winner. Players will need to let the Slow Grow organiser in advance if they are unable to attend the Official Night.
Round Winner
The round winner will be announced on the Infinity Canberra Facebook page when all players have had a chance to play the Common Mission. This maybe straight after the night or after catch up games have been played. The night winner will be determined by the outcome of the common mission for that round.
ITS Points
This slow grow will give ITS (Infinity Tournament System) points to all the entrants each Official Night. The ITS rankings track how you are performing against other players around the country and even around the world. For more information please check the official infinity webpage. http://www.infinitythegame.com/its/index.php
Painting
In order to consider a model fully painted it must be fully based and have at least three distinct colours on it. Items must be distinguishable from each other. Ie hair, clothes, bags, weapons etc. In order to be considered based the ground that the model is standing on must be flocked/sanded/scenic base and painted. Fully painted models are worth the following points:
• Model on a 25mm base: 1 Hobby Point

Cheating and Poor Sportsmanship
While playing Infinity is meant to a fun and casual experience, we have all invested a lot of time and money into this hobby which adds an element of seriousness to it. Cheating and consistently poor sportsmanship scores will not be tolerated. Any claims of cheating or complaints about poor sportsmanship should be brought to the Slow Grow organiser. If any player is found to be intentionally cheating or has repeated complaints against them then measures will be taken to rectify the situation. If an agreement cannot be reached then the offending party may be removed from the Slow Grow and forfeit any prizes that they are eligible for.
Prizes:
Apart from the Round prizes, all the prizes will be handed out at the end of the Tournament. We have plenty of prizes to go around so even if you aren’t coming first there may still be a prize for you!
