Can you believe it? There were no four toed shoes available! So I really had to make them myself! ;)
First picture is the shoes as they were. They had white lines and soles. You can see the repainted white parts in the second pic and the finished shoe covers in the third :)

I like that! Very nice and organic. The blade is rather convincing and even has that chip in it.

Though, the back of it looks a little off. Doesn't quite look... "bone-y" enough to me. Might just be me, though?

Nah, it seems okay. Just needs some paint.

And the grip needs a wrap. Leather straps are overused, and Morats seem to embrace technology 9assuming it allows to kill things ;)). I'd suggest a paracord wrap.

I agree. Seeing what you've done before, you can certainly do better than that!

I think the biggest indicator is that the circular indents are rather... smooth.

So you found a model now, at least for the right hand? :v:

You should keep that, for other purpose. Paint it white, it can pass as cartoony skull.

Hmmm, but is that the hand of someone who can strangle a Preta with their bare hands? Looks a bit too clean and well manicured. :?

What is the hand piece supposed to look like? If it is organic, the edges might want to taper rather than be blunt. Sort of like fingernails do....

Everything looks just fine to me. The sword is really well done. A nice braided cord, even a braided metallic cord, would look pretty cool on the handle.

Keep up the good work. And good to see you're enjoying this project. At least that is the impression I get.

@ Mob of Blondes:
Yeah, my right hand is modeling my right hand ;) I'm able to take a picture with my left hand, but I'm not able to hold the cam that far away I can take a full body shot and my apartment is that smal and winding I can't make use of the self-timer. So for the shots of the process I have to remain on taking them myself or by using the mirror (the dark pictures).
But don't worry: The pics of finished parts and of cause the finished work will have quality pictures! :)

@ Red harvest:
The todays Oznat cares to be beautyful and deadly at the sme time! ;) :P
I'm already working on the next try and I guess it's coming along quite well. Pictures on sunday.
Yes, I'm enjoying it very much! It's fun to have these organic shapes and patterns. It's completely different from most things I did before ^_^

1) Right handpiece
2) Left handpiece
3) Comparison shot: new pieces (left and right side) and old one (middle). It's bigger, curvier and more detailed, so I'm pretty satisfied :)

I like the square cuts on the back of the wrist more than the rounder cuts. Though, I suppose that's just part of the design and not something you can change. In any case, the quality looks pretty top notch and progress seems to be coming along well! Keep up the good work.

@ Claudius: As I said I had many many tries on the patterns to make them fit correctly. So it might be my first fry with the final material, but it took me several tries with paper to get the right shape :) ;)

Image
The mask is nearly finished, too. I have to admit that I'm a little proud ^_^

I changed the part at the chin a bit. I was afraid that the original design would look too much like a goatee :D

By the way: By doing the mask I hit the 100 hours line! :)

Sorry! My mistake and misunderstanding. Still quite amazing!

That mask is looking great! I'm a little sad you are going to stray from the "goatee" armor. Being a Gundam fan, I was partial to the goatee.

100 hours! :toot:

@ Claudius:
I have trouble phrasing my thoughts in language anyway, if it shall be english it's even worse. So if some things come out wrong or are not clear please let me know! ;)
Yeah, I don't like changing the design, but I really think it would look strange in real life to have a goatee :?

Anyways, update!
The neckband. It's missing the big claw, which will be placed in the middle, because it still waits for paint.
