While some may not consider this a huge issue, I can see where others who created custom bases might be put off by this. The risk of damaging a paint job or a miniature that is pinned into a base is not something to casually dismiss considering some of the completed miniatures that are out there.
I purchased MAS bases for my Nomads and Yu Jing. While it presents a minor challenge in terms of some of the remotes and tags, I am relatively certain I can build some custom bases that will work and be compliant with the new rules.
