Having breached the 450 members mark (yay!) I figure it's time to take a little more active approach in gathering feedback.

I would love to know what you guys would like to see added, changed or removed from the forum. Go nuts with the wishlisting, the staff will pick out the suggestions we feel we can agree with and implement them.

I personally really prefer to have a follow this topic-button.
I found some pretty awesome things on both fora (Infinity official and Datasphere) and with the follow-button I can easily follow threads without having to participate (since I am FAR from experienced, both with a forum and with Infinity so sometimes I don't have anything useful to say! )

The like-button does something similair with 'liking' good feedback, but maybe that's all a little bit to Facebooky for the Datasphere.

A Like button isn't our style, but a follow this topic button would be lurker friendly.

You will find at the bottom left of any topic three links. The middle link is called Subscribe topic. This will add the topic to your subscriptions, which will notify you via email if a new post is made in that topic. It will only notify you once; only when you have returned and viewed the topic in question will it notify you again.

I myself would like some more interesting smilies/emoticons. I like those from the official forums, but I don't want to copy them like that.

If anyone can point me towards an interesting pack of smilies, that'd be great!

Hey, I've been using PHPBB fora for years and only learned about this subscribe thing just now. Then again, it's not a function I'd use, so... :shrug:

Well looks like we need a spam bot filter of some kind.

I don't know about you all but I didn't come here to by kitchens.

Also any chance of getting the url and /url component of the post/new topic editor to bring up a pop a data entry box.

So for example you click the url tab it asks you enter the url and then asks for what you want the url to be labeled as. This is allot more user friendly for most people it seems.

So instead of this.

we see this.
