For that matter, a little bit of Green Stuff putty (real 2-part ribbon putty, not the Liquid GS that Games Orkshop sells) in the joining surfaces seems to make life soooo much easier, even with brand-new models like the Kanren.

GS, slow cure superglue, and them some super-thin CA to fill the rest of the joint after the GS+gel has dried. Makes for rock-solid models.

“Stopped? Never. Slowed me down while I load the guns? Every time.”

Am not sure metal binding gel exists in my country. Superglue is all I could find.

I'll try the green stuff method, if I find a place that sells green stuff. It seems like most stores in my city closed within the last 5 years.

Yet another trick: hold the parts with clay, plasticine, etc, but leaving the joints accessible and clean. Then apply liquid superglue with a pin and let it flow in the cracks. That is how is done with wood, first place parts (plenty of time to adjust), then apply glue.
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

Greenstuff is also sold as kneadatite. There are other 2-part putty epoxies available, and they too will work. Check your local DIY store.

He meant the gel variety Superglue.
As opposed to the more commonly found thin liquid Superglue.

Look for it in DYI stores, the one I use is made by a company that makes regular (thin) Superglue as well, and packaged in the same style blisters - but with prominent "Gel Superglue" writing on these. Simply put, the thin one is far more often encountered on store shelves.

Actually I do prefer the gel variety for direct work on metal or reisin, but the thin variety for hardening Green Stuff on models.
