KS has closed now, but keep your eyes open for the X-Terra models from Titanforge Games. Particularly their dropship:

That's my point though; the comparison doesn't fit cause operators can get on and off a Little Bird in a hurry without bending over and worrying about running full tilt into low doorway. Even less so cause a Little Bird can touch down, every one springs off, then its in the air again in seconds. Unloading a duck walking team down a single file ramp? Or worse, the exfil, especially if there are wounded.

Just saying, I don't think it fits the scale, nor as a covert dropship role very well for 28mm.

Wild West Exodus is holding their second Kickstarter right now. Unfinished Business will introduce 4 new factions to the game. The kickstarter has already reached its funding goal of $65,000, and now the stretches begin.

Very basic containers and stairs stuff, but at a pretty fair price; looks like a very affordable way to fill a table.

"Treasure Chests" with objective-type items ( https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/ja ... esource-to ), PREPAINTED. 6 different types of tokens, 22+ (grows with stretch goals) tokens per type.

They're expected to retail for about $45 each set, post-KS, but if you jump on the KS you can get 3 treasure chests for $90.

I... wow, that's a lot of little stuff! I'd have to split with someone if I got this though, there's way too many for me to ever need. Still very cool!

It does look cool, but i'll have other priorities for at least the next month and a half. It's just about to get funded, so i hope to see it in stores in a year or two :)

I find it odd they put metal metal miniatures in board game. Seems like a big risk with mainstream audience.

People managing Dakka will launch a KS (full game, bobble head soldiers, etc) with another company they also handle, and one of the stretch goals will be this sprue of building parts (to detail those made by others, or even plain boxes you get from anywhere).
Image
Like this flipped storage box.

I think it launches today, so keep an eye on KS.

Edit: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/me ... ures-warga launched and the sprue is 2nd stretch goal, 45000.

Holy crap, already funded!

Surprised they're getting the sprues cut for that low of a price, but I like the integration of bots they're going with.

They already have "lots" of sprues. So they already had the money (some companies accept delays when billing... but not so much time). And that means changes will be hard or impossible (Epirians remind me of the crap proportions of some GW Imperial Guard). They also used different suppliers (you can notice in the sprue styles). So let's say the KS targets are something else.

And the bases are/will be also custom. 25 mm ones already shown, they got side marks.

Ugh

Unsure if anyone is following the Last Saga kickstarter, but for a while there were issues between the metal caster and Rocket games (the guys who ran the last saga kickstarter). Things might be looking up though as here is the first image of some of the metal casting.
All of these minis here are also scuplted by the guy CB used for the Nomads in Ice Storm and most newer Yu Jing models.

Which scale are we talking about? :v: Infinity has a serious case of relativity. Now they are even developing huge feet.

Seems pretty well in scale with the Ghulams (whatever era they are...).

They are old. :) Based in the release dates spreadsheet by pierzasty, Sep 2010. No, older as they are also in the Jun 2010 (resculpted?) starter.

I went in for a $1 pledge on the Maelstrom's Edge, assuming that I can get some of the terrain kit sprues. I saw them in person at Salute and was really impressed. Agree on the odd Imperial Guard proportions of the figures. I think Afterlife (Anvil Industries) also suffers from that. I think their minis have a lot of potential but I can't get past their stumpy legs! That said, I am impressed by the ME mech models.

I hadn't seen the Last Saga KS and I'm definitely intrigued. Some really cool looking sculpts there, unsurprisingly given who they got involved. Probably a good thing I hadn't heard of the KS in retrospect but I can imagine picking some up on retail release.

15 mm, but robots can work along 28mm. Robomule becomes robodog (or robosheep, check that side cover), and the tall robot is a pretty normal TAG (and has sane feedbelt).
ImageImage
They also have a Fiddler as future goal, but again 15mm version, only 20 GBP (the one we saw years ago that was 90-100, 1/35).

Fiddler backed for an alternative pose, and yours truly will be sure to get you all some comparison shots with some Infinity models when opportunity is presented. Blogged about that KS a lot. And the new photographs of the Last Saga miniatures reminds me that it had great detail, thanks to a familiar name with Infinity.

I'm following Last Saga, too.

The miniatures look like medium-high quality, at first glance... Which is good, but so far didn't find any model of that range that was really inspiring or groundbreaking, for me...

I haven't found any model either. Probably because I haven't received any yet from that KS :P

Yet another MDF building KS?

Not exactly. This one integrates lights (and motors for some buildings)! https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/wa ... -buildings

Red structure is 100 x 100 x 144 mm, blue structure is 140 x 102 x 78mm, and green structure is 150 x 150 x 54mm.

This building measures 267 x 215 x 141mm.

250 x 250 x 140mm

"The hydrocarbon power plant is my most popular building and is a perfect candidate to motorise. The large generator on the outside is attached directly onto a motor and rotates once every second. The building also features lighting and a huge array of details. The generator is a new simplified design making it much easier to assemble, again metal ball bearings are used to ensure quality of the motion and reliability. Measures 260 x 260 x 170mm."
