Hence Go West Terrain (GWT) gets this review as Todd at Go West Terrain since a vast amount of Prize Support, I felt that his company and product deserved a bit of attention here on the internet, specifically here on Datasphere!
So let's get to it! Today I will be going over the "CAT-6 Multi- Plex 9" 2 Story Building."
When I opened the box and this bad boy came I think I actually squealed with delight.
Picture from GWT's web site:

Impressions:
-This thing is SOLID. It feels different than my other MDF buildings. Sarissa buildings feel particularly flimsy in comparison. This feels like one could actually stand on it, it really feels that strong.
-It is freaking painted already! It is blue and white (a nice color scheme) but there is some black inking as well it looks like. The details pop out from the building, and if you really wanted to you could add some other colors.
-It is also a tight fit from one story to another. There is no movement between the floors.
-It is obvious that there is need for some gluing in this build but when I inquired it was just plain old Elmer's Glue (PVA for the rest of the world) holding this beast together. So if damage were to happen, it is a cheap fix.
Here's a few action pictures with my mini's to show some different angles.
The blue acrylic "tubes" on the sides of the buildings are just such a neat idea...

Here is a picture of the top of the building. Top comes of easily and you can see the black lines of the detail very well here.

And a picture of the inside. Look at the inner edge where the roof goes. Perhaps this is the GWT secret in making such strong buildings. Looks like 2 pieces of 3mm MDF layed ontop of each other. Wonder if the rest of the buildings is like that?

Negatives:
- These aren't light buildings. Weight just a bit more than MAS and WAY more than Sarissa.
- The doors are a bit too tight. See the picture here. Not a real problem, just a bit of shaving and this bad boy fits in like a glove. But notice the hand print acrylic right next to the door. How freaking cool is that?!?!?

Opinions:
I own lots of MDF terrain. I have MAS, Sarissa, Shark Mounted Laser and some Burn In Design.
First, this is the only terrain company that sells it's buildings painted. When I do my next review you see how it comes in the packaging, but I like it. Want a table in a hurry? A nice table too? Go with Go West Terrain....
I love that it is sturdy. I don't leave my expensive terrain at my Favorite Local Game Store. The kids that play 40K just don't respect Infinity terrain. So I usually box up my terrain in a large plastic tub and store it at the house. THIS building, wouldn't break in there! Some of my other MDF buildings are falling apart from this poor treatment I give them. Now it is heavy, so it might scratch paint. But here's another cool thing. The paints have been color matched to menoth white highlight and cygnar blue highlight from the p3 paint line! So you don't have to search for the right colors IF there are scratches! BRILLIANT!
All-in-all, I am VERY impressed with this terrain. Not only will it stand up to the rigors of game play, but also storage and transportation. And it looks stunning on the table-top right out of the box!
*edit* It should also be noted that as of right now this terrain is NOT for sale. I have high hopes that it will be very very soon though!
