Hi All,
BPLASER is a start-up Australian company bringing you quality laser cut terrain at an affordable price. (sorry about the postage :( )
Our Webstore, http://www.bplaser.com/, is having its Grand Opening Sale.
Starting on Friday the Eighth of March 2013, a special postage bonus will be in force :P.
You will be able to get 5 kilos of scenery delivered anywhere in the world for less than half price, including insurance.

So come and check us out, If you have any questions, please send me an email or a pm.
Store details in my signature, :)
Thanks,

EDIT:

Hi Guys, I have checked / amended the postage rules, a "5 kilo" order now covers a range of 4.5-5 kilos. If you order falls within that range, it will automatically receive the discount.

Thanks.

Sigh, if only shipping from AU wasn't so expensive!

I dream of a day when some MDF manufacturers decide to collaborate and share designs/files, or just handle regional production for each other...

5 kg is somewhat nebulous of a measurement of terrain, unfortunately. That doesn't seem like a lot of terrain either, for $55 shipped. I would guess each building weighs about 0.75 to 1.5 KG in unassembled form?

I compare to buying $150 of Micro Art Studios terrain from a US retailer, 4 buildings plus 3 sheets of extras, and altogether I think it weighed over 6 KG. Shipped for $7.

I know you can't control shipping, but it still adds a hefty chunk on to the cost even at half off. I lament that, but I applaud your sale.

Fair call but in this case your purchasing a unique product.

Not everyone wants to have the same product as their (insert gaming club/business/friend here) so why not get it while its hot?

My fancy new terrain is in the mail. But there was no tracking number (the lack of one for something of this price makes me nervous). Asked for one in a reply to the confirmation, but no reply after a few days - might be an outbound address. Trying to contact them via the site.

They might be busy with this opening sale. I've emailed them a few times from their site prior to this sale and they've always been quick to response, minding the time difference of course.

While I didn't receive a tracking number, everything arrived within 9 days of shipment.

Note that tracking international shipsments can be bit of a toss up unless shipped FedEx or UPS. Using national (Aus, UK, etc.) post might be able to track it to where they hand it off to the USPS, but after that, no dice. Same can happen if you ship USPS internationally, they can only track so far, then it is up to the destination country's postal service to update tracking which in most cases they don't. or so my experience has been.

I got a reply back, they advised me it was shipped via Aussi post. While there are ways to track it by going to an Aussie PO directly, I didn't feel that was needed.

Just feels weird to not use UPS/FedEx for once.
