28mm & 15mm Monorail Container Transfer Depot

by Mad Mecha Guy » March 23rd, 2015, 9:15 am

Have designed a Container Transfer Depot/Stop for my Low Level Monorail Range. Both in 15mm & as requested 28mm Scale

15mm Low Level Monorail Container Transfer Depot.

Size: 350L x 130W x 90mmH

Pack includes One Stop, a Worker's Hut & a Wheeled Container Mover.
For £10.00 GBP

Size: 450L x 200W x 160H (cab top) - due to laser limitation I could not do same relative length as 15mm.

Will do two versions:

1) Just the Container Deport (the MDF bits in pictures) = £14.00
2) Container Depot, plus Container Truck & Worker Hut (base size 160x120x60mmH) = £21.00

The Depot (opt 1) is available to order now, have not finished the hut or container truck (not far off).

With both designs the parts of the gantry do move. The control pod is separate so can be placed on ground if preferred.

Neither added to my site at present but both are available to order.

Regards

MMG.

Look pretty cool. Is the lift compatible with other manufacturer crates? For example, I have some SharkMountedLasers and Plastcraft containers and could see myself using something like this for more dioramas.

The lift is designed for my Containers (based on 5x5cm) but if don't use the lugs under the container frame might fit others. Though not sure if sufficient height from rail.

There are a set of 5mm Diameter holes in frame for magnets, this was for having some metal washers (or magnets if watch the polarities) glued inside container, allowing containers to be swapped around.

I gotta be honest. I love what you are making but I loathe your site sir.

I would really like to see pictures of your put together creation. Seeing how it will appear in the post is cool but I wanna see what it will look like all together!

Also, I love what you are doing here again.... (I kinda wish I had seen your stuff before a recent purchase to be honest....)

Mad Mecha Guy's stuff is very impressive. I'm currently in possession of one of his drop-ships (Hercules) which is part of our local event prize structure.

The kit is excellent and will soon get a full review from me.

He is also good with communication - so answers e-mails pretty quickly.
