Ok, so I happened to see really nice 15mmm mdf buildings in some general miniature happening and was told the guy is designing 28mm terrain atm. Something to keep an eye on.

if I read it right, the barges are about 11" x 4" so still perfectly usable in Infinity!

Sorry for the threadomancy.

So, I made an order and received a hefty package (6kg) today. If anybody wants to know something about my experiences so far, just ask. I especially like, how these buildings have built-in stairs and have fairly realistic floor plans.

I ordered some Condos and Shops.

If there were pictures in the shop... :what:

Stupid page system not helping either. First visit worked, now menus do nothing. Silly mania of overcomplexing all with more JS and more this and more that.
If not worth saving, is it worth rewriting? What is more, was it worth writing?

I agree that the lack of pictures isn't good. Luckily the 28mm models are largely just upscaled 15mm models and those have quite many pics.

Could you perchance take some pictures of the items you received after you have them put together, and review them for us?

Ok, it's been some time and I'm ready to give my two cents. Here's a couple of shops with a fancy bridge between them. Kit costed 18£ and I think it's quite big piece for that prize.

I don't have much experience with mdf from other manufacturers, but for example my customeeple pieces are more harder and brittle compared to these. So when Customeeple pieces would flint when glued and forcibly removed, these tear apart the outermost layer, which is actually easier to fix with some sanding and couple layers of paint.

Design is quite simple and these don't come with floorplans unlike the other kit I ordered, but have some etched detail on the floor instead.

One of the reason I ordered these is because all of them have these nice, sizable indoor stairways, which are pretty rare for premade terrain for some reason.

Parts fit tightly and I actually cut some tabs between the floors and roofs etc. to make them easier to assemble and disassemble during game.

btw, the plastic bits glued on the windows don't come with the kit and are something I did myself (they should enable me to insert and remove "glasspanels" at will). Feel free to ask if something bugs you.

Here's the demo board I used in Ropecon. Notice the shop signs from Customeeple:

Wow those buildings are amazing and seem like a good deal for the price. Going to check this site out.

According to his site he is working on getting someone to cut his stuff in the U.S. to save on shipping. Nice.

Yeah, the guy seems to worry about postage and or a good reason. Cheapish mdf tend to end up in large and heavy orders.

We played these as lof-blocking, impenetrable boxes in demos and tournaments, so I have very limited experience how these work as accessible interiors. But these do give me ideas about more complex, story-driven scenarios, where such features would add to the game...
