Those are looking great! I love those support columns. Are they modular? (As in, can you "extend" in any direction from that hub?) Also, it looks like you can rotate the tops to get diagonal bridges, too. Is that right? Are they limited to Orthagonal and Diagonal only?

@Claudius Sol: You are absolutely correct in your assumptions! As can be seen in the picture, there are two types of columns: with square holes to fit other columns and with circular holes for the bridge connector platforms. A bridge can then be fitted on either end of this platform. Due to the circular fixation, these bridges can be positioned in any angle relative to the column.

The industrial version of hanging bridges received an update and now is compatible with the same columns and platforms. Also I made some terrain decorations/objective markers out of spare bits and extra parts. Might glue them to the roofs to add details

The finished wireframe bridges look interesting, but not as much as the covered bridges to me. They also look like they'd have problems if you tried to rotate the orientation.

The roof decorations looks pretty neat! I like those a lot.

Your neighbors must be deaf from all the noises coming out of your forge!

That openwork bridge looks excellent.

I'm liking this more and more...

I'll eventually have to order something, I guess... :/

Shame it's out from East Europe.
Would you consider licensing or otherwise allowing a terrain manufacturer here in the States to use your designs? Perhaps get royalties on each sale made?

@Claudius Sol: We not familiar with this practice and it is difficult to decide even though it sounds tempting.

Here's a little test piece of scenery artifact inspired by a certain science fiction classic:

Licensing is where you sign a contract to allow someone else to make your designs in exchange for money. If you ask for money up front and little to nothing per piece, that encourages the other guy to make and sell as many of your designs as he can. If you ask for little money up front and a significant amount per piece, that tends to encourage the guy to not advertise your designs too much.

Personally, I'd consider a "reciprocal license", where you make the other guy's products and he makes yours, with an annual "well, I sold X many of your designs, you sold X+Y many of my designs, so you owe me Y" balancing.

Me? I have a minor in International Business.

Back at the forge after a short hiatus! And right back into commissions and projects.
@Section 9: Thank you for the info. We are currently focusing on expanding our range and will consider licensing when opportunities arise.

Here's a table terrain set I'm working on plus 3 'fridges'. The artifacts are painted in the colours of the local Nomad and Combined armies.

Also you might notice the one of the sick playmats we got from http://www.deepcutstudio.com/. Less browny tables in the future!

Like those "fridges"!

I'd buy those pre-painted, especially the black w/ blue OSL. I suck at OSL.

The 'fridges' will be available in our shop, most likely as a prepainted version.
And to follow them up, here's a series of stackable cargo containers I'm working on:

Their measurements are based on the ISO containers.

Those are quite nice, but I'd suggest having an unpainted version of the containers.

I - for one - really like to have my own colors /logos on my containers.

Call it pre-primed.

@schoon: We have made an unpainted version of the Cargo Containers available in our shop just for painting maniacs like you.
@Mob of Blondes: thank you for the suggestion. The containers are indeed more pre-primed than pre-painted.
We will make an unpainted version of the Fridges too.

The suggestion was for schoon, so he thinks about them in a different way.

Do you get the MDF pre primed, or prime it yourself before cutting? Because it seems the cuts are after the coating is applied.

@Mob of Blondes: We prefer to prime all material (we use HDF) before cutting. Just a few details or decorations are added, repainted after assembly of the models. E.g. edges of the pre-primed containers were lightly airbrushed. But the fridges were repainted completely.

I think slightly more vibrant colors would be better. Or perhaps a mix of them. In modern life, you see Deep Blue, Bright Yellow, slightly muted Orange, Vivid Red, Slate Grey, all sorts of Greens, some crisp White... Really a lot of colors work, but they're typically well distinguished from each other.

It depends, real colors vs the crap that media pushes and seems to have stuck in brains (about music there is the Loudness War, I wonder if there is a similar term about images). Reality? Do an image search. Then discard all the stupidly processed pictures. Yeah, those in which everything is bright, approaching fluo levels, the sky is always cyan even in the worst storm, the sea is always caribbean even in the middle of an ocean, and so on. There you go, the rest of pictures, real container colors.

Crap.

Real (or at least tries, you never know that the photographer really did).

For the other option, just go silly in the DIY shop. If you can't see the spray can with sun glasses, discard it.

I'd still say the second image there has plenty of vivid colors. I'm not saying paint them neon, but I think most container companies try to present their product in a good light.

They probably also use the cheapest formula they can find, so I don't doubt in some cases the color the picked for the brand was influenced by logistics. Just like some WTF colors of the past can be traced down to having special properties and being the easiest to acquire (funky greens in hospitals and airplanes interiors come to mind). The brown ones are probably related to primer, like the scafolding in the ship, for example.
