Hasslefree miniatures that would fit in Infinity

by Mob of Blondes » June 6th, 2013, 12:32 am

You probably know the 4 male miniatures (or kits, you can swap some parts among them) that look great for Ariadna.

Next, a female:

Edit: changed title to something more generic, instead of original "Hasslefree female soldier" that started all this.

Their White Ops team is cool, they come with useful weapon load outs and look good enough for most things. I would for sure use them instead of a few line troops that kinda stink (Kazak's perhaps?). That or they for sure would make GREAT USAriadna troops, whenever we get those....

Image

But that being said, I too prefer the "Modern Troops" as well.

Edit: Now that I am looking at the White Ops again I might just have to get them. How the hell did that happen?
Perhaps modern Caldonians? Scottish soldiers withOUT kilts? The horror!

Goddamit stop tempting me!

Word of warning: Hasslefree minis are true 28mm, so are noticeably smaller than Infinity.

:? Where did I say I don't like others? I was just pointing to the new model.

The White Ops are not Kev sculpts, Hasslefree bought the greens last year or so. No idea how they fit with the HF range, probably fine, knowing HF.

Deja vu, didn't we have a similar scale talk days ago? Oh, yes, we did, more photos then (again courtesy Statuesque).

They look pretty much into what normal human variation would give, specially as the style is similar (not stupid silly big heads or hands). I would even dare to say that HF has bigger miniatures than the one in the above photos.

Okay let's face it Hasselfree has some good ass mini's. That is easy.

Are we looking for JUST civilian models? Cause I think Kev gets it hands down....

Are we looking at other Aridina models> I think hell ya!

It seems there are two, not just one. This other is more futurist:
Image

What civilian models would you suggest? They seem to only have a few (compared to other ranges) and even some of the explicitly listed under civilian, hold a pistol. Or wear militar uniform. So other than the dog and friends and a couple of elders, not very much to pick from, maybe 5-10.

I am not relly sure if I like the future one. The pose is really nice, but the helmet and belly armor are kinda odd. I suspect though that with the right paint job, it will look different.

Also I love the gun on the last one.
I am really hoping they will be released as a pack someday. They would be perfect replacements for all the silly Infinity guns (looking at Pan-O and the new Nomads).

And if I ever branch out into MRRF, the first female posted and Deano will be my Chasseurs.

Yeah, I know. Thats why I am hoping the new ones will be available too!

I also like the Alien Pulsrifles, my only concern is that they might look a bit to plain on Infinity minis. They kinda look a bit like Chain Rifles though, which is not a bad thing.

I believe I saw another company do them too, can remember which one it was though.

Badger has a brother, Mongrel. They follow the same design than the other four, one body with two different sets of add ons to generate a pair and also increase the combinations as you can swap parts between both.

Image

Or more direct: this seems to be one body, four weapons, two heads. Heads and backpacks probably fully compatible with the other four (Freak & Demon, Bergil & Hassle), maybe five (the girl's backpack).

And for completion, old (just some months) soldier that fits the group, but single part, Deano:
