NonSense miniatures that would fit in Infinity

by michel » December 3rd, 2015, 2:12 pm

I know nothing about this company, and the miniatures in the shop, at the moment, are mostly fantasy or WWII.

But look at the renderings... Such figures could come very handy in the Infinity RPG (or any cyberpunk game, actually).
They are very realistic, with accurate proportions and nice characterization. Sort of Hasslefree + Anatomy Class. Also, no clenched fists in sight, which is perhaps a good sign.

After recognizing some of the minis, these seem to work with or be part of Resina Planet, another spanish company which make some great minis, mostly fantasy-oriented, and have a game heavily inspired by Running Man (here's the Indiegogo campaign from back then, it has plenty of details, some of these may be not too flashy to be used in Infinity too). Good people, too.

I'll look forward to these.

From what I understood, they just agreed to host Resina Planet's miniatures on their web store.
NonSense only miniature, so far, is the WWII German officier.

Hi

I'm Ivan the owner of nonsenseminiatures.com. Yes, I have an arrangement with http://www.resinaplanet.com, he is a very nice guy with good miniatures, and small companies need to work together to be able to grow. Some miniatures will be good with mines and also in few time I will have some miniatures from Tales of war.

About my renders, they are totally from my future miniatures, I'm waiting two polices, and two Russian from miniature caster.
maybe in two weeks or less I have them, these delay in production was due to he changed his factory place. Additionally I'm waiting 4 prints from the USA gangs.

I will use Spec-op Osprey rules for my game, I will make a small adaptation to use with gangs, zombies vampires....

Best regards to all

Perfect, this manufacturer is going exactly in the direction I was hoping for: realistic modern with a bit of fiction.

And thanks Ivan for the contribution on the thread: now we can whine directly at the owner of the operation to beg for the miniatures we want!... :)
Jokes aside, I hope that you'll listen to our comments, we are all committed painters and customizers, here.

OK, stop wasting time, now I start with the whining: Ivan, you are going to sculpt agents inspired to Ghost in the Shell, Appleseed, Resident Evil and Metal Gear Solid, right?!! :)

Also, who has got some hints about Osprey's Spec-op?? It's months that I've been looking for some previews on their website, but no luck... Which dices it employs? Is it Order or Random Activation based? How are automatic fire weapon treated?...

Hi

The miniatures will be more inspired in Tv films like ''Bad Boys'', ''Death Valley''.... and maybe some videogames like resident evil.

Spec-op game is a really easy to play and learn game. System activation is with poker card. Official/s with ''kings'', heavy/es with ''queens'' using one color for player. In this way every miniature or group of miniatures activates two times in every turn.
The system uses d6, and a standard shot will work like 4+ to impact, there is a safe roll that involves amour and protection.

Uses a system for mission much more fun than infinity in the way it uses tables for ''main'' and ''secondary'' that can generate around 100 different missions.

Also there is an important ''stealth'' system that uses guards and ''noise''. I played lots of missions and I never suffered that one player had advantage over the other.

I hope there are some civilians in the plans. I'd love to get more civilians.

Civilians in my future miniatures? yes, I have made some arms without weapons, so you can put them as civilians.

In Spec-op, the civilians can be very ''funny'' because they can alarm guards... its something like ''friendly'' or ''unfriendly''.

I will try to make a good report explaining some rules

best regards

Ivan, I suggest you also employ Twitter to keep fans up to date. Very quick and handy if you just have to post a miniature/rendering pic with short comment, and more "viral" than Facebook, in my opinion.

Another suggestion that I thought is to give some miniatures handguns with tactical lights/laser sight...
