Well, I see I cannot hope to win this one (well, any of them to be honest :P) Luckily, it was never my goal.
More of participation and motivation for me (hey, this edition made me paint 2 batches of 3 models each in order to get the 2 that qualified).

Claudius, when do you intend for the next edition to start, and what is the theme going to be?
I'm asking, because I want to have the right models available & ready (and not, like a few times in the past, already started... or even finished).
They say there will be Heaven and the Fount of Kausar,
That there, there will be pure wine and honey and sugar
Fill up the wine cup and place it in my hand
(For) ready cash is better than a thousand credits.

Hahaha, glad that you've been painting! That's the whole point of the campaign.
The next season will start January 1st! New years!

With the new year, I'm going to try something a little different with regards to the theme. I'm not entirely set on the theme right now, but if it turns out to be what I'm thinking now, you'll have to think a little outside the box, so to speak.

Damn - I had my Mobile Brigada 'Paint Train' at hold, hoping that the next round starts December and that the theme would be close (a lot of specialist in there)... but in this case - I'd rather start painting the unit now :)
My goal is to 'live by the brush' as a passionate hobbyist and a Brush for hire.

Ah, yeah, the usual schedule for these campaigns is 2 months entry then 1 month voting/rest. No sense in burning out!

Not a problem! I think it's worth it if even 1 model gets painted that wouldn't have, otherwise!

There were plenty of fantastic entries this past season.

I'll be doing things a little differently in the coming year's season.
But only slightly differently, mind.

I completely understand. To quote myself from a different forum ( on 8 Nov.) , "...Honestly though, I don't give a tiny rat's ass about winning. I just needed something to motivate me to finish an Infinity miniature." It worked to :D Of course ,once I saw dat ass or better put, dat shiny purple ass I knew how this contest would end. Plexus did a very nice job.
