No, it isn't TO Camo. That's regular camouflage paint job. I suck at doing all the clean paint jobs. But it feels great to finally have one of the arguably most hated and feared miniatures in the game to call my own.

Next up, doing terrain and this guy.

I'm going to buy a 60mm beveled base for it. If that won't fly in ITS, though, I will have to try something with this 55mm. Ugh.

Somebody on 15mm Sci Fi Facebook Group mentioned getting a gloss sealer spray and spraying it, then using a very diluted wash in the crevices for details.

Never done a full wash with that though. Nor have I used inks. Most I know how to do is mix a drop of Dawn, a drop of paint, and a couple drops of water, mix thoroughly, and attempt to coat. What I tried to do with the deeper blue there, but no gloss coat to stop it from drying.

And I don't own a wet pallete.

Wet palllet: soap dish, sponge, parchment paper(like wax paper from grocery store found in same spot.)
I made my pallet for 3$

The gloss thing works well, some washes are bust done before sealing and the wash that is done after works best with oil paints. I use that for weathering.

The biggest thing is, it looks like your at the stage before washes go on. The tag is the perfect size to practice washes.

You should have a regular palette mix 1 part the base colour you used, and 2 parts with a wash that is darker then your base.

I use astronimicon gret as my base and add asurmen blue wash (I use games workshop paints)

The cloth on her pants is grey with the blue wash.

By mixing a bit of the base to your wash(on the palette) it adapts the was to a shade closer to the base colour allowing when you add this to the miniature to give a nice progressive shade.

Well, I don't have any of the aqua, that was the primer plus paint. So... I have Reaper Deep Ocean, Reaper Coalition Blue, and Reaper Coated Armor (comes out blue-gray). Hm.

I got a new sponge. Soap dish and parchment/wax paper? I will get.

All if you dont have a wash, (I like gw washes) get some "medium" you can get from micheals or a paint store. Its kind of like a paint thinner. But not bad for the paint that's their.
The easy way is to just get some washes.

Depending on your paint you can thin it with a bit of dish soap and water. (One drop of soap per 1/2 cup water) its not an exact science but its easy to mix with your paint on the palette. Do not put solution into your paint or foaming will occur and paint will no longer work as well.
