Everyone's talking about the minis. I'm loving the bases. They have a really realistic look to them with the combination of soil, rock, small shrubs and a little static grass and pools of water. Very nice work.

The bases are supposed to look dark, like a forest/jungle sort of thing. I did it that way to not distract people from the mini

I wouldn't bother the bases look fine the look real and add depth to the model by offsetting the vibrant colors used on the miniatures themselves.

Ohh and are you going to add LOS markers?

Its as good as all your other minis! Really clean and detailed!

What it might be missing, and why your not satisfied, might be contrast between the colors, the grey armor and the skin are a bit blend. The only thing that really pops, is the ammo belt, or better control cable (why they heck is it even needed on the GHRL? no wireless?), and thats the only thing that shouldn't IMHO.

Also the yellow details are great with the grey armor, but not so much with the skin.

I think that could help, but don't take only my word for it, lets see what the pros have to say, or just try it out in photoshop, so not all the hard work is for nothing.

I'd say change the color of the ammunition belt only, the high concentration of orange is throwing it off.
