At least the second go around seems to be coming along much better! The first looks... salvageable, but wouldn't be easy.

So the good news is that I've been making progress on Cordelia. The bad news is that with an upcoming work trip taking me away from the brushes next week it's looking unlikely that I'll get Scarface done in time for the deadline! Well, them's the breaks :)

Anyway, here's a Cordelia update.

Still the best damn Cordelia I've ever seen, and she's just gotten better and better looking. Amazing.

You have my vote for sure.

That is such a great look so far! And you haven't even really touched the gun or base! Fingers crossed you can get something done for Scarface! Worst case scenario, you can just submit the WIP?

Managed some WIP on the kamau. I felt the pose was a little goofy without context so a rhino roof hatch came in handy to try and tell a story.

All the whites are on but I have to figure out where to put some red and blues to match my Orc's Varuna colour scheme.

Nice. Love the hand smears on the back of the door. It counts as total cover from the rear, right? :P

My only concern is about the fit of zombies with the Infinity universe, as that seems like something they've avoided in the fluff. I wonder if Combined Army have anything close with all their seed soldiers, sepsitorising, transmutation, and so on.

Thanks mate. It's only for the painting comp as I just wanted to have fun and put the pose into context for those who aren't familiar with the model. I'll get rid for gaming. :)

After some more consideration I did change the obvious zombie lettering for just infectious. I felt maxvon_d was right and I wanted to keep the base after using it yesterday. It's all done now. Little bummed about the pics though as white doesn't really photo well without a decent setup. Either way I love it and I hope pano WIP won't let me down with her.

She looks great, I'm so very glad you added that wall. I love the red accents on the white armour.

PanOwner that is fantastic. I agree with Maxvon_d about the base and model telling a story. Really good work.

My own progress for this quarter:

Paint work pretty much complete. Just need base painted up. To get rid of the Blu-tac and aerosol lid

Life has gotten a bit busier, and I've found that I've lost some drive in getting that conversion complete, so I will have to drop out of this season's competition.

Good luck to everyone else.

WIP on mine, played them like this in a tourney last weekend... minimal tabletop hehe...

Hey panowner, you could cut that background door down to s2 height (or just paint a line on it) and leave it, would make the model siluette capable...

Sadly, due to some back problems, I've been unable to sit comfortably and paint for any length of time. I can still stand and work, but standing and painting... uh, no. Kirpal Singh is close to finished, but I don't think I will get it done in time. Rather than rush things and crew things up, I'm just going to withdraw.

Seems like summer season has us dropping like flies. :|

I will post my miniature tonight. Would have loved to show more WIP, but my job suddenly became insanely busy, then I went on vacation for 2 weeks. Still, I'll gladly post my TraumaDoc/Machaon, which was a lot harder to paint than I expected, due to him being incredibly tiny.

Congratz to all of you, who already finished your work. :)

Oh no! Sorry to hear everyone's been having issues. Cheers to better health and no worries about having to drop out! First priority is to your own health.

Best of luck, everyone! Painting or otherwise!

So I got Cordelia finished, but despite an epic painting session yesterday I didn't manage to get Scarface done.

Here's how Cordelia ended up,
