Myrddin Paints Various Things

So to make up for the destruction of my Datasphere Season 1 Painting Comp entry, I'll show some WIP of other things I'm working on.

First up is Konstantinos:

He's coming along well and there aren't a huge amount of complex details which makes him a pleasure to paint. I plan to glaze that blue area with bit of ink to shift the hue a bit and make it more vibrant since I'm going to use a limited palette with this guy.

Next up is a Wu Ming:

Like the penitent criminal he is, this Wu Ming normally serves as an eternal test dummy for the colors I want to use on my other Yu Jing pieces. The metals on this guy were an experiment that had a less than stellar result and the digital eye of the camera makes it look even more muddy. I quite like the green but I might try something colder or more grey-green. The Wu Ming will continue to bear the scars of experimentation in preparation for Sun Tze.

I'm working on some Grey Knights too but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to show that. Afterwards there will be some Myrmidons!

Sorry to hear about your season 1 entry. Don't fret, there is a season 2 and the theme for that season will be revealed in the coming days.

I like the highlighting you've done on the blue and green for those models. Very well done!

I'm working on some Grey Knights too but I'm not sure if I'm allowed to show that.

Technically, you are not prohibited from showing these. No rule there to forbid it.
I just feel it would be somewhat pointless.

Still, if you think you are doing such a stunning paintjob that they should be shown on the very merit of how excellent they are painted - man, go for it.
