Link Teams

The Link Team rules are kind of dense and I'm trying to get my head around them. I have a couple of questions.

1) It says you can set up your link team during deployment, or you can create a new link team with you Lt. Order. Does that mean if I have Seed Soldiers or Caliban coming out of their seed embryos at the beginning of Turn 2, they aren't automatically linked? Do I have to spend my Lt. Order to link them?

2) Let's say I have two Djanzaban, one Azra'il, and three Hafza in my combat group. During deployment I link my three Hafza with my Azra'il to increase my Feuerbach to burst three. Then a TO Camo sniper reveals itself, fires, and goes back into Camo. On my next turn, can I break my link, move my Hafza within 8" if the Djanzaban, and use my lieutenant order to form a 5-man link team to give the Djanzaban +3 Discover rolls and Sixth Sense 2?

3) Let's say I have a Haris Odalisque link team and a regular link team formed with some Hafza (like the Djanzaban/Hafza link team above). The battle's fierce and everyone gets pretty badly shot up. I'm down to a single Odalisque and a couple of Hafza. Since the Odalisque is no longer Fireteam Haris, can I use my Lt. Order to form a regular link team between her and my surviving Hafza?

4) It says a link is broken on the ACTIVE turn if my link leader is taken out. I'm not seeing anything about the REACTIVE turn, though. If my leader gets taken out during my REACTIVE turn, does that mean my team stays linked?

5) It says figures that do different ARO's automatically leave the linked team. Is flash pulse considered the same action as shoot? How about discover? Can I have two members of my link team try to discover a camouflaged figure and have a third figure wait to shoot? Or will that break the link?

In order:

1) They will have to be linked after hatching. Although they can of course hatch early, so in theory a Seed-Soldier fireteam be formed on turn 1 - although still not automatically, it will take the Lt. order.

2) You can break link teams at any time. You may also form any new team (or the same one again) with the Lt order. So this is a yes.

3) I don't believe there is any limitation that stops a troop with Haris L1 being in a normal fireteam. You cannot however form a Haris fireteam with mixed troops.

4) Translation omission. The original Spanish is clear that the team can be broken in the same fashion in either turn.
But even if not, the leader's ZoC would disappear when he went unconscious/dead, and the rest of his team would break the requirements to be part of the team - it would break of its own accord.

5a) Although not clear in the original rulebook, Human Sphere makes it clear that Flash pulse is a BS weapon (although uses WIP to hit). This is still "BS shoot", the same ARO (even if with a different weapon), and will not break the link.

5b) Discover is a separate ARO to BS shoot. This will break the link.

5c) The declaration of Discover is the team's ARO, so all miniatures would have declared their ARO and couldn't delay. A model would have to leave the team to not declare their ARO and be able to "hold" it.

Thanks for the clear response. I'm particularly thankful for 4) since that seemed really odd and I'm glad it's just a translation ommission. Good point about the loss of zone of control, anyway, though,I wouldn't have thought of that.

3) If you have your Hafzas in link range of both the Azra'il and the Djanbazans, all it takes to switch link teams is the LT order.
