Ejection System vs Monofilament

Hi all,
Very new to Infinity and ran up against a rules issue that has me slightly confused. During a game of Qapu vs scads of ninja's, one of them used a mono-filament sword on my Iggy. My issue is that mono-filament doesn't give a # of wounds, just outright kills the model, however does it kill the operator as well or does it obliterate the tag (stopping at 2 wounds) and fire the operator out for a chance at some sweet revenge since they're technically separate models. Also, if there is a simple solution to this, could you point me to the section of the rulebook I may have overlooked? We played it as he killed both and per the rules of the ejection system it fired a corpse onto the battlefield (funny but not very helpful)
Thanks,
TelephoneJack

I believe it was confirmed that the operator gets ejected as a meat puree.

I think it's just sliced in half, no need to exaggerate Pierzasty!

You can look it up in the wiki to see that extra wounds from the Iguana carry over to the operator, so in this case they're both dead sadly :(

I can confirm: you simply stick the blade through the TAG armor into the pilot and enjoy the show of the pilot ejecting themselves with your monofilament still inside them.
