Any idea who the dude with the belt fed weapon (hmg?) his armour looks like a haqq design. Also are those possible O-12 infantry?

That guy looks a lot like a Jannisary. Maybe they're redoing the Jannisary HMG or they're getting some other awesome weapon like an autocannon.

That's a good call on the O-12 there. Possibly O-12 infantry because that girl has an Aleph sniper. The shoulder pads are reminiscent of the new Alguaciles, so maybe Nomads, but probably just same sculptor.

I'm pretty sure those are the new Ghulams that were supposed to come out this month. I wonder if the renders mean they are being delayed...

I love the new HMG Janissary. Not sure they'll get fielded more but they may become more attractive in N3.

That's definitely a "new" style (i.e. human sphere) Janissary. My guess is that's the new HMG model. I love it.

Good, someone said it. I was eating supper and thinking, "Wait, no one said 'YOJIMBOOOOOOO' yet!" :P

He does look pretty awesome, and I agree it looks like there's a dismounted sculpt too. Which is also awesome.

Edit: so how long til we can expect a release? Antipodes were what, 2-3 months after we saw the renders?

What's bad about him being on foot as an option though: he'll be in a box all on his own (+ krazykoalas) which means expensive. I'd guess around 30-40 USD MSRP.

The guy with belt fed weapon is the new Janissary.

And the new Dog Warriors are pretty much (the new) Antipodes with pistols. Stop the copy paste, please.

Yeah the old dog warrior sucked and this one looks as bad with more detail. Not a fan of the new Antipodes...

Find the differences.

Antipodes created hybrids that had two shapes (Dog Face, Dog Warrior) and were steryle, up to Rev2 fluff. Now they are all werewolfs stuck in wolf form?

Apparently they will come in box of 4 miniatures. 2 dogfaces and 2 dogwarriors.

Someone also commented that they will be as big as the gekos.

The bike is the clear "winner." It just looks so badass.

I think the new antipode and dogwarrior models are an improvement, maybe a little too "beefcake" tho.

That new Dog Warrior is leaps and bounds ahead of the old one, just awesome. I love the new Jannisairy, the new Yu Jing stuff, even the new logos! Are all faction logos gonna be updated..?

The Dog Faces were not sterile. Breeding between the Dog Faces and Humans resulted in Wulvers that were sterile.

Belt fed HMG Janissaries is gorgeous! I hope that the Ghulam with HMG has a similar beautiful belt fed HMG.

I really like some of the flavorful art of the Shas base and Sun Tze strutting through some Yu Jing area with a Guijia behind him.

There's some really nice stuff in there. I'm mixed though on the Dog Warrior.

I figured it was a joke, but better safe than sorry, I feel.

I honestly wouldn't have a problem with such a thread if it remained civil and respectful. That just doesn't happen, though.

Back on topic, that dog warrior is wearing clothes. Fairly big difference. I'd need more than just that single render to tell you more.

Even if they are similar, I'd attribute it to Corvus belli wanting more regular aesthetics within sectorials and factions and even throughout the game.

Wow, these are all really great. looking! My thoughts:

- Youjimbo is completely badass and very well sculpted, with a huge amount of character. I can't wait to see him painted, and I can't wait to paint him myself. I'm not even a Yujing player, but I know I'll get him. I don't mind paying for both the bike and base figure, but I'm sure there will be people that are a little irked(understandably) to have to buy both, especially since one will likely never see play. But maybe N3 has better rules for getting off bikes?

- The new Ghulam aren't super exciting, especially compared to the very excellent new line infantry for Pan O, Nomads and Morats. But the photos are a little blurry, so maybe they'll look better in person or painted? They're not bad by any means though.

- The new YuJing HI looks very cool. It also looks like it uses the same base model as Sun Yzu, with some obvious changes. I'm not a fan at all of the model copy pasting that's been happening recently, but there are some places where it does make sense, and if this is supposed to be a basic YuJing HI that all others are based off of than this could be one of those places. Anyway, it looks gorgeous. I just don't want to see all new Yujing HI looking exactly the same.

- Are we really getting a new Trauma Doc? The concept art is neat, but we just had her re-boxed last year, and the model is still very nice. Maybe she'll be better in N3 and we'll actually want to take 2? I hope she'll be true to teh art and not have the beret. I like the berets, but it would be cool to have one model with and one without.

- The Kotail looks so amazing!I The design is sleek and sexy, and I love teh mask. I think it will look great with the hood up or down. I very much hope this is a new infiltrator, but a Mech Deployment model would be neat too! I wonder if it will have the option for 2 Vulcan Shotguns? Probably not.

- I'm not a Haqq player at all but I'll probably get that Janissary. It's very cool. I love the belt fed HMG.

- I like the Dog Soldier, but it really does look like they just reused the Antipode model. Which is too bad. Or maybe it's just very similar? it does look beefier and the hair seems to be slightly different, but it's hard to tell. Even if they end up scaling it up a bunch, I'm afraid it's still going to look very similar. I don't play Ariadna, but the last thing I want in my army is a bunch of models that are obviously the same guy but in different poses. The new Morats, as much as I love them, have suffered from that a lot.

- I'm a little disapointed that there isn't any new CA stuff, ad I'm surprised that we're not seeing any Aleph at all. Maybe at Gencon?

Personally - as a Haqq player - I'm not excited. Yes, the Ghulam needed a redo. And the Janissary HMG needed to be brought up to the updated aesthetics.

Then again - I own a full complement of Ghulam, having converted all the weapon options that weren't there (the last of them - sniper - is awaiting his paintjob). And I preferred the old aesthetics of Janissary armor. Yes, my 4th Janissary also awaits painting, so I won't need any more of them...

As for the aesthetics - I find these render photos a bit too blurry to form an opinion.
They say there will be Heaven and the Fount of Kausar,
That there, there will be pure wine and honey and sugar
Fill up the wine cup and place it in my hand
(For) ready cash is better than a thousand credits.

Antipodes got a canine thoracique cage, dogs get a human one that's enough to make them different while showing parenthood between both, that looks fine to me. Thought they should just had gave them humanoïd legs imho.
