So friends and I have always played D&D but I played a couple games of the Infinity Tabletop and I love the fluff and theme of the game. So I convinced my friends to try the RPG, I found that it's very complicated, however. I've read through about half the core book and I can't seem to find the description of the Infinity Dice beyond the little blurb on pg. 29. It says the 1 and 2 are "counted as normal." Does that mean they are plus 1 or 2 damage on a damage roll, or are they both just "hits" adding one additional damage. Also, what does the event roll, or "6" indicate when Infinity dice are rolled for the cost of gear? Any help would be much appreciated, even if you point to whatever page or pages of information i'm missing. Thanks so much!

I know it is long overdue and you probably know already the answer but 1 and 2 count as +1 and +2 - the real difference is with 6 or N on special dice - let's say you want to buy something then you add the tariff mod on N. If it is rolled for damage, then you need to check weapon special rules if it adds something like extra damage, knockdown or maybe something else.
