The choice:

The proxy is a cool choice for this scenario, I tried in another list and mimetism on a engineer is awesome. Also with the nethrod she is expendable.

I got some smoke - the myrm chain rifle drop smoke on Atlanta or the Asura since they both got MSV and they can let it rip.

Anything heavy can be hacked or targeted with the hacking device + and I got a proxy with TO camo and hacking device to send forward if need be. The GML can deal with anything targeted or simply shoot.

The Asura can flash pulse even through smoke.

Of course if my opponent have (and they will) evo and hacker at the back, I drop my garuda in AD:2 to kill hackers and EVO.

And the myrmette with zero V smoke can block even a MSV3 if need be.

Looks solid.

So just to double check, the Netrod in the second group is just to burn spare points?
You don't get the order from it (since there are no others in the group).

I'm all for confusing the enemy as far as which to kill (since you have 4pt left over) but just curious. :)

My only real concern is the number of orders. You'll have 8 until the Garuda drops, but you have several order intensive units (Garuda, PostHuman, GML combo). But my experience is limited with GML and drop troops in the same list.

To be honest, 300 pts and only 8 orders on the table are a bit low, more so if one of the orders comes from a netrod. Also, remember that the Garuda can be hacked by that hacker you want to kill if he goes AD2.

The idea is to play the scenario - not kill the opponent lol.

If you are first, you need to push a engineer up the middle of the table, access a alien device, succeed a wip roll and find were the complete info is. If your lucky ( 1 chance out of five) you have the right info otherwise you need to run to another device, repeat the access roll then return to a model with baggage if you have one, once in bases to baee you can upload but not before turn 2.

If you are second you need to position your model to get ARO and back each other up because if you play in cover, the enemy will get the objective and once the info is in his hands its very hard to to recover and win .

If you play 101 the same way you play a regular game of infinity you will loose.

A engineer, expendable with wip 15 and mimetism is absolutely awesome to get the device.

I agree that 8 order is not much.

The extra nethrod is there for extra safety to allow the posthuman to jump out if the engineer gets killed and I had the points left over.

Each unit can deal with certain situation. But I don't plan to use them all at once.

I plan to kill as little as possible, just what I need to secure the objective and succeed in my mission.

Of course the Asura is the best defensive hacker I got (BTS-6) and I plan to keep the Garuda well away from hackers.

I am pretty sure I could swap something to get more orders but I fear I would loose flexibility.

Need to think about it.

At the end of the day, if it works for you that is all that matters! :-)

I like the idea of extra netrods in the second group for helping the Post Humans escape. Good use of a couple left over points.

300 points and 8 orders is the norm for Aleph.

Hacker can't hack if he doesn't have a brain! Kill him before he starts to hack you...
