I'm making a 300 pt vanilla list for my wife for our friendly games and I was wondering what you guys think of it. She DEFINITELY wanted to try out her Marut, which I've gotta say, makes ALEPH list building a little tight.

So a TAG LT, three Specialists, two smoke throwers, a TO model, a Super Jumping paratrooper, and some order sticks. The Spec Ops is just a general all around spec op that she could always tailor more to her taste as need be. I know the weakest link in this is the lack of long range and SWC weapons, but I think most of her models can mitigate these issues.

The only other options I have to mix with the above is;

*Achilles(I can't imagine him AND the Marut)
*Penny
*Steel Phalanx Box Models
*Support Box Models
*Nesaie Alke
*Thrasymedes
*Atalanta

I would go with something like that (based on your list):

It gives you one more order, cheap Chain of Command on SpecOps, specialist in hidden deployment in midfield - Dasyu and some firepower with Spitfire.

You can proxy Thrasymedes as Spitfire Thorakitai.

Of course your list is quite valid for casual play and this is list tailored more in my tastes

By all means, I'm glad to see other people's opinions and tastes; I'm not an ALEPH player, so its good to see what other people would do. Also, Minelayer on a Chain of Command Model sounds pretty nifty.
